The San Beda College Alabang - Centralized Bar Operations (SBCA-CBO) remains steadfast in its mission to equip Bar takers with essential academic resources for their Bar preparation. As part of this commitment, we proudly present the eleventh and 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗕𝗖𝗔-𝗖𝗕𝗢 𝗕𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗕𝗮𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, featuring a concise discussion on the 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁 (𝗥.𝗔. 𝗡𝗼. 𝟴𝟭𝟴𝟳).

The Paternity Leave Act of 1996 grants 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 (𝟳) 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝘆, consisting of basic salary and mandatory allowances, to qualified married male employees in both the private and public sectors for the first four (4) deliveries of their legitimate spouse with whom they are cohabiting. The benefit covers 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗯𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗲 and is intended to allow fathers to support their spouse during her recovery and/or in caring for the newborn child.

This primer provides a clear, concise, and Bar-aligned discussion of the essential provisions and concepts under the 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁, serving as a useful review material for Bar candidates studying 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝘄.

This primer provides a clear, concise, and Bar-aligned discussion of the essential provisions of the Financial Rehabilitation and Insolvency Act (R.A.
