FIRST TERM – INSTRUCTIONAL BLOCK

Patuloy na nakikisabay ang ALS-SHS sa strengthened Senior High School curriculum, na tinitiyak na ang ating mga learners ay hindi naiiwan sa kalidad ng edukasyon. Sa bawat instructional block, mas pinagtitibay natin ang kanilang kaalaman, kasanayan, at kahandaan para sa kolehiyo, trabaho, at panghabambuhay na pagkatuto.

ALS-SHS Pilot Implementation Undergoes Monitoring by Bureau of Alternative Education and ALS–NCR

The ALS Senior High School (ALS-SHS) Pilot Implementation at Tunasan National High School successfully underwent a monitoring and validation activity conducted by the Bureau of Alternative Education (BAE) and the Alternative Learning System–National Capital Region (ALS–NCR) on Thursday.

The activity provided the ALS-SHS team with the opportunity to present the progress, accomplishments, and best practices that have sustained the pilot implementation since its launch in 2022. The discussion highlighted the program’s innovative delivery, commitment to quality education, and continuous efforts to address the unique needs of ALS learners.

The school extends its heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated ALS-SHS teachers—Sir Ben, Ma’am Janice, Ma’am April, Sir Lloyd, Ma’am Tin, Ma’am Janesa, Ma’am Alyssa, Sir Doni, Ma’am Jen, Ma’am Welyn, and Sir Jameson—for their unwavering commitment and invaluable contributions to the success of the program.

The school also expresses its sincere gratitude to the school head for her steadfast leadership, unwavering support, and genuine concern for ALS-SHS learners. Her guidance continues to strengthen the implementation of the program and inspire the entire ALS community.

This milestone would not have been possible without the technical assistance and supervision of Dr. Mariza M. Andanza, Education Program Supervisor for ALS, together with the Schools Division Office of Muntinlupa.

The ALS-SHS team likewise extends its deepest appreciation to Dr. Jonathan B. Caracas, Supervising Education Program Specialist from the Bureau of Alternative Education (BAE), Mr. Clodualdo R. Rivadulla, and Dr. Charito A. Villanueva, Education Program Supervisor of ALS–NCR, for their valuable insights, guidance, and continued support in strengthening and sustaining the ALS-SHS Pilot Implementation.

As the program continues to grow, Tunasan National High School remains committed to providing accessible, relevant, and quality education for every learner through the Alternative Learning System.

ALS - SHS Literacy & Numeracy Assessment (LiNK) for Senior High School Grade 11 & 12, SY 2026-2027

Learners and teachers of the ALS-SHS Program at Tunasan National High School actively participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, demonstrating preparedness and awareness in responding to emergency situations.

Following the prescribed safety protocol, participants practiced the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure and safely evacuated to designated assembly areas. The activity aimed to strengthen disaster preparedness, promote a culture of safety, and equip learners with the knowledge and skills needed during earthquakes and other emergencies.

The successful conduct of the drill highlights the school’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all learners and personnel while fostering resilience in the face of natural disasters.
