This was enough motivation to formally register Muntinlupa School for Child Development (MSCD) with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and with the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS) which is now called the Department of Education. One year later, additional facilities along Intercon Street were provided to house the increasing number of 3-5 year old children. Meantime, the old house was redesigned and expanded into a four-storey building to accommodate the elementary pupils. In 2004, the school opened its doors to high school students. In 2009, the school started mainstreaming children with special needs into the regular class, results of which were so encouraging enough for parents to invite other families to try MSCD. The school has experienced a constant growth in enrolment and in curriculum development. MSCD is recognized by the Department of Education. It is the only school in the city that offers a developmental pre-elementary curriculum.
