Yesterday, May 2, 2026, we had the opportunity to visit families affected by the recent fire who are currently staying at the Barangay Sucat Covered Court and Sucat Elementary School in Muntinlupa City.
We brought storybooks, pre-loved clothes, and donated LS shirts for the children and their families. These efforts were made possible through the generous contributions of our parents and students.
At present, nearly 800 individuals remain in need of assistance, particularly in terms of cooked meals and ready-to-eat food.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Philippine Association of Social Workers, Inc. (PASWI) โ Muntinlupa Chapter for coordinating and for assisting us in the distribution of goods.

Sulong, Juan. Sulong, kabataan. ๐
Through Sulong Juan, the De La Salle Santiago Zobel Grade 12 Batch 2025 continues to turn learning into meaningful action. Led by the Grade 12 Filipino Department in collaboration with the Social Action Office, this initiative empowers students to respond to real community needs while living out the values of pagiging makabayan, mapanuri, at makatao.
Last April 8, 2026, part of the funds raised was used to donate a coffee machine to the National Training School for Boys, supporting the residentsโ livelihood formation and opening opportunities for skill-building and reintegration. As Lasallians, we are called not only to learn, but to act in solidarity and become instruments of change.
We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to the Grade 12 Filipino Department for making this initiative possible.

Today, April 22, 2026, the Information Systems and Technology Services (ISTS) Department of De La Salle Santiago Zobel School, through its Social Action Office (SAO), donated 16 computers to our partner, the Enrique Zobel Foundation Inc.
In a time when access to technology plays a vital role in education and opportunity, this initiative aims to support learners and communities by providing essential tools for digital learning and growth. These computers represent more than just equipment, they are gateways to knowledge, empowerment, and brighter futures.
The Enrique Zobel Foundation will utilize these donated computers for the students of the Enrique Zobel Technical Center (EnzoTech) and Barangay Health Workers, helping them enhance digital literacy, improve access to learning resources, and strengthen their capacity to serve their communities more effectively.
This meaningful effort reflects the Lasallian commitment to service and solidarity, reminding us that when resources are shared, lives are transformed.
Together, we continue to build a community where education and compassion go hand in hand. ๐

In these challenging times marked by rising fuel prices and economic strain, jeepney drivers continue to show up each day, keeping communities moving despite shifting income realities.
This initiative stands in solidarity with the jeepney drivers of BMCX SV3 JODAI Multi Transport Cooperative through the distribution of essential goods. These donations reflect a shared effort across the Lasallian community: treat packs prepared by Grade 2 students as part of their Math class, Go Bags from Grade 12 students through their Filipino class, and various goods offered during Campus Holy Masses, showing that learning can lead to meaningful action.
Heartfelt gratitude is extended to Ms. Ping from the Learning Resource Center, whose generosity and volunteerism continue to inspire, especially as she prepares for her well-deserved retirement. ๐

Ang paghilom ay nagsisimula sa pagtanggap at pagpapatawad.
Last April 8, 2026, the Social Action Office, in collaboration with the Campus Ministry Office, successfully conducted ๐๐๐๐ร๐: ๐ ๐๐ฆ๐ค๐ฐ๐ญ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ค๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ with the theme โ๐๐ข๐จ๐ฑ๐ข๐ฑ๐ข๐ต๐ข๐ธ๐ข๐ฅ ๐ฏ๐ข ๐๐ข๐จ๐ฑ๐ข๐ฑ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐บ๐ข: ๐๐ข ๐ฃ๐ข๐ธ๐ข๐ต ๐ฑ๐ข๐จ๐ฑ๐ข๐ฑ๐ข๐ต๐ข๐ธ๐ข๐ฅ, ๐ฎ๐ข๐บ ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ด๐ฐ๐ฏ๐จ ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ต๐ช-๐ถ๐ฏ๐ต๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ญ๐ถ๐ฎ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐บ๐ขโ to its partner National Training School for Boys.
This meaningful encounter became a sacred space for reflection, healing, and renewal. The day centered on rediscovering oneself, embracing forgiveness, and experiencing Godโs unconditional love. Through moments of prayer, sharing of the Word of God, personal reflection, and guided activities, the residents were invited to look within, confront their past, and open their hearts to grace and transformation.
KALOรB served as a reminder that forgiveness is not only for others, but also for oneself. It is a journey toward inner freedom, peace, and hope. In choosing to forgive, we begin to unburden the heart and make space for healing, growth, and new beginnings.
May this experience continue to inspire lives of faith, compassion, and renewed purpose.

Today marked the culmination of the two-day training for Calatagan Child Development Workers, facilitated by the DLSZ Early Childhood Team. It began with a workshop applying yesterdayโs training on play-based teaching strategies, including storytelling, arts and crafts, and music and movement.
The CDWs showcased their own unique teaching approaches by creating new songs, introducing innovative methods, and even developing instructional materials. We also held a team-building activity that highlighted camaraderie and fun among the CDWs and the ECE Team.
The program was made even more special as we turned over donations from the Grade 1 and Kinder students, which were part of their academic integration across their respective subjects and the Social Action Office. The day was further enriched by the presence of our Senior Vice President, School Principal, and LFMD Director, who shared insights on the value of teachers handling young children in school settings.
Thatโs the end of Sanay Lunsaran 2026! Thank you, DLSZ ECE Team and MSWDO Calatagan! โหโฟหยฐ

Behind every child who feels safe is an adult who is supported. When caregivers are given the tools and space to grow, children are nurtured with more compassion and care. In the end, it is always about creating a better, safer world for them.
Maraming salamat to our volunteer facilitators from the School Counseling Office, Ms. Marianne Ani-Jabique and Mr. Albert Mathew Alonzo, for generously sharing their time, wisdom, and heart in guiding this conversation.
