All Grade 10 completers in SY 2017-2018 that are enrolled in DepEd-recognized private schools and are not Educational Service Contracting (ESC) grantees are eligible to apply for the SHS Voucher Program.

Application may be accomplished manually until January 31, 2018, and online (through the Online Voucher Application Portal (OVAP) at http://ovap.deped.gov.ph) until February 28, 2018.

Paano Itataas Ang Grado Sa School
Ni Dr. Willie T. Ong

Sa mga estudyante, heto ang mga paraan para tumaas ang inyong grado sa eskuwelahan. Sundin ang mga payong ito:
1. Kumain ng masustansyang almusal. Ayon sa mga pagsusuri, ang mga batang kumakain ng almusal ay nakakakuha ng mas mataas na grado kumpara sa mga hindi nag-almusal. Mas alerto sila sa classroom at mas madali din nila natatandaan ang leksyon.
2. Umupo ng malapit sa g**o. May benepisyo kung ang estudyante ay malapit sa g**o. Mas naririnig niya ang sinasabi ng titser at mas tanaw niya ang nakasulat sa blackboard.
3. Matutong kumopya ng aralin (notes). Habang nagtuturo ang titser, matutong magsulat ng aralin sa notebook. Kapag walang laman ang iyong notebook, paano ka mag-aaral sa eksamen? Pagkatapos ng iyong klase, basahin muli ang iyong notes para siguradong naintindihan mo na ito.
4. Sumali sa usapan sa klase. Huwag mahiyang itaas ang kamay at magtanong.
5. Puwedeng kausapin ang titser. Kung mayroon kang hindi naintindihan, puwede mo ito ikonsulta sa iyong g**o pagkatapos ng klase.
6. Magtakda ng isang goal para sa iyong sarili. Kung ang dating grado mo ay 75%, subukan mong abutin ang 85% sa susunod na grading.
7. Mag-research. Para sa mga mahihirap na leksyon, matutong gumamit ng internet at libro sa library. Puwede ka rin magpatulong sa iyong kamag-anak.
8. Mag-aral ng pakonti-konti araw-araw. Kapag ginagawa mo ito, hindi mo kailangan magmadali kapag araw na ng examen.
9. Subukang magtakda ng schedule. Halimbawa, 5:30 PM hanggang 6 PM para sa math, 6 PM hanggang 6:30 PM para sa science, at iba pa.
10. Mag-aral sa matahimik na lugar. Isara muna ang iyong cell phone, iPod, internet at TV habang nag-aaral. Magbasa muna. Pagkatapos puwede ka nang maglaro.
