As some of you may know, my dad, Fred Rodriguez, was brought to the hospital two weeks ago. He was standing on a chair, fixing something in the garage when he had a stroke. He fell to the ground and was immediately rushed to the hospital.

The stroke affected the left side of his brain, which in turn affected his right eye, and caused weakness on the right side of his body. He was in the ICU for three days, in a regular room for five more days and had physical and speech therapy every day.

My dad was discharged last Sunday and is now recovering at home, with continuous therapy and medication.

To be quite honest with all of you, this took our family by surprise, especially with expenses. So I am beyond grateful that a lot of my friends offered their help in different ways— this fundraiser included.

We hope to see you all on April 27 at Nook, Molito, from 5 PM to 8 PM.
Tickets are available for Php500 if you pre-register, and Php600 for walk-ins.

As we launch the 2024 Pluma: Muni-Muni Literary Folio, catch The Red Chronicles at a night of live music, drinks, and spoken word poetry. The official student publication of SBCA-SOL proudly brings you the much-awaited, Muni-Muni: Open Mic Night. Join us on April 6 at the Nook Coworking Studio, Molito Lifestyle Center, Alabang.

Show starts at 8:00 p.m. Doors close upon reaching the full house capacity of the venue due to limited space available.

The SLG, in collaboration with The Red Chronicles, is partnering with the NOOK co-working studio to offer students an alternative for their online classes.

To assist the NOOK in better preparing to accommodate our students, they have requested our input through a survey.

We strongly encourage everyone to participate in this survey for the benefit of those seeking a safe and productive environment for their online classes between onsite sessions. Moreover, by completing the survey, you will receive a complimentary half-day pass!
