This is the Official page of the San Roque Catholic School (SRCS) - Alabang Gonzalez. To accommodate the growing number of enrollees, Msgr. Fr. Ma. Msgr.
San Roque Catholic School (SRCS) was founded on February 13, 1981 by Monsignor Tomas T. As Parish Priest and School Director, he envisioned SRCS as provider of quality secondary Catholic education for the youth of Alabang and its neighboring community. Since then, the school has become a partner of the Parish in the task of evangelization and Christian formation. Grouped into three sections (Faith
, Hope, Charity) the first batch of students numbered one hundred forty one (141). Classes were held at the rectory of the parish and the other side of the church. Tomas initiated the construction of a three-storey building in 1982. The following year, it was ready for use by five hundred forty two (542) students from the first, second and third year levels. Full high school education was offered in the school year 1984-1985. The first principal, Miss Lydia Santos (1981-1984), ably assisted by a group of pioneering and dedicated faculty and staff, managed the responsibility of providing quality education to the students. Following the footsteps of Msgr. Tomas Gonzalez, Rev. Stephen Villanueva (1985-1987), his successor, continued the path towards expansion and development of SRCS with the help of Mrs. Erlinda Esporlas (1985-1987), who was school principal at that time. The School directorship was ably passed to Rev. Romerico Prieto (1987-1989) in partnership with Sr. Minda Peñaredondo D.C., principal (1987-1989). From 1989 to 2007, the school opened its doors to the congregation of the Religious of the Virgin Mary (RVM), to assist in the academic management of San Roque Catholic School. The RVM Sisters known for their proficiency in school management and as educators, appointed Sr. Domitilla Enriquez,RVM as principal (1989-1991). Her successors, S. Marina Insigne, RVM (1991-1994), S. Teresita Varon, RVM (1994-1996), S. Celestine T. Viernes, RVM (1996-2002), S. Ma Julia Advincula, RVM (2002-2005), S. Ma Corazon P. Agoncillo, RVM (2005-2006), and S. Marlene M . Dolalas, RVM (2006-2007) creatively and innovatively inculcated Gospel values during their tenures in response to the demands of the times that molded our students and graduates to be truly Roquenians in heart and spirit. The past Directors, Rev. Rolando Dela Cruz(1989-1991), Msgr. Celso Ditan (1991-1996), Msgr. Nereo P. Odchimar (1996-1997) (eventually becoming Bishop of the Diocese of Tandag) and Msgr. Felipe Ocol (1997-2004) continued the efforts initiated by their predecessors to provide quality Catholic education to the youth. A historic event took place in September of 2005 when the three-story Grade School Department building in Ilaya St., Alabang was completed to house the Early Childhood Education and Grade School Department. This was made possible through the persevering efforts of the RVM Sisters, Very Rev. Felipe E. Ocol and Rev. Fidel G. Fabile, the Diocese of Parañaque Parochial Schools Association (DOPPSA) Superintendent and acting School Director (January 22, 2004 and up to January 10, 2005). He was followed by Rev. Jerico H. Habunal (January 2005 to September 2011) who made extensive renovations of both the high school and annex building to better provide for the growing needs of the school community. Benjamin D. Molina Jr. (September 2011 to January 2012) who, despite his brief stint as school director, promoted reforms and development of facilities in the school for its continued growth and improvement. SRCS underwent great changes in the development of its charism in the example of the directorship of Rev. Gerard Vicente B. Mascariña (May 22, 2012 – May 25, 2014). Building the Roquenian community, he formed it to discover more its spirituality, that is: to be generous, to serve the community of Alabang selflessly, and to imbibe in every Roquenian the acronyms PUSH (Pray Until Something Happens) and GMRC (God Makes Roquenians Catholics). Under his leadership, he closely guided everyone with the charism of our Patron Saint, San Roque which is Service as a Mission. Together with Bro. Aniceto B. Sister, OSM (High School Principal from 2007 to May 1, 2017) and Ms. Vivian C. de la Peña (GS Principal from 2007 & Institutional Principal starting May 1, 2017 to the Present), with a steadfast and firm resolve to bring SRCS to greater heights and to promote a culture of Roquenians who are Service-Oriented, committed to the call of Respecting the Dignity of Human Life, Competent Holistically and Simple like Mary, under the leadership of Rev. Albert A. Venus (May 25, 2014 - July 1, 2017), the school developed itself to become an institution with “Christ as the Heart of Learning.” Implementation of programs such as extensive Faith Formation for the Family and School Personnel, Community Extension Services such as the Nursery for the Less Privileged Program (DepEd Recognized and Free-of-Charge), and Outreaches to the Developing Communities of the Parish were the key goals of SRCS in making her true to the Mission of San Roque. It is also under his leadership that SRCS adeptly promoted Robotics and Speech Classes powered by TechnoKids and the opening of the Senior High School Department with Mrs. Clarita E. Victoria as its first Coordinator (May 1, 2017 to August 1, 2020). It is also under his leadership that the High School Department, through the efforts of Mrs. Victoria and the numerous Alumni Contributors that all classrooms are fully air-conditioned. From School Year 2017 to 2023, Rev. Rustico V. Cruz was given the helms of leadership as School Director (July 1, 2017 to July 1, 2023) and Parish Priest (July 1, 2017 to February 12, 2024) after the tenure of Rev. Venus. From School Year 2028 to present, the Senior High School Department undertook the challenge of adding new strands from the original Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Strand (STEM) and adding the Accountancy, Business and Management Strand (ABM) from School Year 2019-2020 and the Humanities and Social Sciences Strand (HUMSS) starting School Year 2023-2024. It was under his tenure that the school traversed rough seas as it faced the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this, learning continued with the introduction of new modalities such as Online, Modular and Hybrid learning. SRCS shifted its priorities to focus on what mattered most: That Christ be our Vision, and Service be our Mission. It was also under the tenure of Rev. Cruz (SY 2019-2020) that the revised Philosophy, Vision-Mission, Goals and Objectives (PVMGO) prepared and formulated during the later years of Rev. Venus’ term, were implemented. Revisions in the academics, in programs and activities, and in apostolate work / community extension service were made. The pandemic was propelled SRCS to move forward for the greater glory of God. Following Fr. Cruz’s leadership came once more, Rev. Fabile (July 1, 2023 to April 1, 2025) who was appointed Cluster of Schools Director for the City of Muntinlupa, and together with an audacious faculty, staff, and supportive Parents Association (Family Council), SRCS aptly steers the school towards the path of excellence by promoting innovative educational programs, up-to-date technologies, incessant and regular improvement of facilities and personnel, firmly resolve to make Jesus as the Core of the Curriculum (RCC Program). It is under his leadership that the School Quadrangle was covered and aptly renamed the Roquenian Multipurpose Hall (RMH). With a new School Year (2025-2026), a new School Director and Superintendent will lead SRCS to new heights through the leadership of Rev. Rolando R. Agustin (May 1, 2025 to present). With all of these, we aim to fully realize the school’s Vision and Mission which is to transform the youth to become agents of FAITH, HOPE, CHARITY and most importantly, LOVE as shared by our Lord, Jesus Christ, the Greatest Teacher above all. ROQUENIAN PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION

𝑷𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒂 𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒕 𝑷𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒏.

Maligayang ika-40 anibersaryo ng EDSA People Power Revolution! Mabuhay ang sambayanang Pilipino!
Ikaw? Handa ka bang maging bahagi ng makabagong People Power?🇵🇭🎗️
Day 3 of San Roque Catholic School's 45th Foundation Day may be last but definitely not the least, it may have been the most enjoyable among all! ✨💙
Roquenians proceed to show off their dancing skills, visual presentation, and coordination as they embody the spirit of Philippine Festivals—specifically from the grades 8, 9, and 10! Where every beat and step ignites the soul of one another, keeping the festivity bright and colorful.

"With the amount of people present during the People Power Revolution of 1986, it was hard to see what was going on. But to the protestors, it wasn’t about witnessing an event; it was about taking part in something bigger than themselves. They were in the thick of it. And for the most part, in the years prior, they had been passive observers to a tyrannical regime. Finally, in EDSA, they were silent witnesses no longer…"
