Dr. Danilo B. The highlight of the ceremony was the pinning of the 4th-year BS Psychology students, who were introduced by batch and accompanied on stage by their loved ones and distinguished members of the Psychology Department. The act of pinning, led by their parents and guardians, symbolized years of hard work, sacrifice, and unwavering support.
As the program drew to a close, the students affirmed their commitment through the Pledge of Commitment led by Ms. Ameera Jahnne Cabusao, Psychology Society President. This was followed by an inspiring talk from the Guest Speaker, Ms. Chris Angelie M. Belen, RPm, who shared insights on self-awareness, the value of internships, and the lessons found in every experience.
The department also extended its heartfelt gratitude to its generous sponsors from Datacentric Corporation, led by Ms. Melanie Angeles, President, and Ms. Marittes Porlage, Senior People Advisory Manager, for their support and the thoughtful gift certificates given to selected students.
The ceremony concluded with closing remarks from Ms. Geneil A. Poblete, RPm, MA, OIC of the Psychology Department, who reminded the students that the pin represents both knowledge and values.
The evening ended on a heartfelt note as students lit their flashlights and sang โWith a Smile,โ symbolizing hope, unity, and the beginning of their professional journey.
