🎓 Little Steps, Big Dreams: Kindergarten Batch 2026 Moves Up!

Alabang Elementary School proudly celebrated the Moving-Up Ceremony of its Kindergarten Batch 2026 on March 24–25, marking a significant milestone in the learners’ early educational journey.

Headed by Kindergarten Chairperson Roxanne R. Sarabia, the event highlighted the learners’ growth, creativity, and readiness as they transition to the next academic level. The ceremony was witnessed by proud parents, dedicated teachers, and supportive stakeholders.

The program featured inspiring messages from school leaders and partners. School Principal Dr. Raul T. Felix commended the learners for their achievements and recognized the vital role of teachers and parents in nurturing young minds. Kindergarten EPS Dr. Marissa M. Andanza emphasized the importance of strong foundational learning, while Master Teacher II Nolito Roque N. Alvarez encouraged continuous support for early childhood education. Kindergarten Master Teacher Ma. Preciosa M. Laderas also shared heartfelt words, celebrating the learners’ progress and bright potential.

A special message was delivered by Brgy. Alabang Kagawad Lloyd Paguio, who congratulated the young completers and expressed his continued support for programs that promote quality education in the community.

"AES Grade 6 Learners Mark Milestone Graduation: Ready to Lead with Competence and Integrity"

Alabang Elementary School proudly marked a significant milestone as 650 Grade 6 learners graduated on March 28, 2026, at 9:30 AM at the Muntinlupa Sports Complex. The ceremony was a heartfelt celebration of the learners’ dedication, resilience, and accomplishments throughout their elementary journey.

The program was led by School Principal, Dr. Raul T. Felix, and attended by distinguished guests, including Mayor Ruffy Biazon, Congressman Jaime R. Fresnedi, OIC-Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Violeta M. Gonzales, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Lilia Ricero, CID Chief Florante C. Marmeto, SGOD Chief Ma. Regaele A. Olarte, and PSDS, Dr. Yaledegler C. Maligaya, along with other SDO and LGU officials. Mayor Biazon and Congressman Fresnedi delivered inspiring messages, encouraging the graduates to pursue excellence as they embark on the next phase of their academic journey.

Anchored on this year’s theme, “Pilipinong Nagsipagtapos: Handang Mamuno nang may Kakayahan at Mabuting Pagkatao,” the ceremony emphasized the graduates’ readiness to lead with competence, integrity, and strong moral values as they move forward to the next stage of their education.

The program featured the awarding of medals, the ceremonial distribution of diplomas, and the singing of the graduation song—marking the learners’ official transition from elementary to the next stage of their education. Families, teachers, and the entire school community joined in celebrating and applauding the graduates’ hard work, dedication, and achievements.

“A Day of Pride: AES Learners Shine at Araw ng Pagkilala 2026”

MUNTINLUPA CITY – A spirit of pride, joy, and inspiration filled Alabang Elementary School as it celebrated its Araw ng Pagkilala 2026 on March 26, honoring learners who have demonstrated excellence in both academics and character. Anchored on the theme “Pilipinong Nagsipagtapos: Handang Mamuno nang may Kakayahan at Mabuting Pagkatao,” the event showcased the school’s commitment to shaping future-ready and values-driven individuals.

The celebration opened with solemn and patriotic rites, including the Philippine National Anthem, an audio-visual prayer, the Muntinlupa March, and the SDO Hymn. Dr. Raul T. Felix, School Principal IV, delivered an inspiring message underscoring the importance of perseverance, discipline, and integrity in achieving success.

One of the most meaningful highlights was the symbolic transfer of responsibility between the outgoing and incoming SELG officers, reflecting readiness for leadership and continued commitment to excellence.

Adding inspiration to the program, Public Schools District Supervisor Dr. Yaledegler C. Maligaya encouraged parents to remain active partners in their children’s educational journey. The audience was then warmly introduced to the guest speaker by Ma’am Maila C. Lorenzo, Master Teacher I.

The highlight of the program was the message from Hon. Christine May Abas-Ding, Barangay Chairperson and proud alumna of the school. Her heartfelt words reminded learners to dream big, stay determined, and value education as their strongest foundation for the future. She also emphasized the vital role of parents in guiding and supporting their children.

In recognition of her unwavering support, a Certificate of Appreciation was awarded to Hon. Abas-Ding.

The awarding of medals celebrated the outstanding achievements of learners, beginning with SPED, followed by Grades 6, 5, and 1. The AES Dance Ambassadors energized the crowd with a lively intermission number before the continuation of recognition rites for Grades 2, 3, and 4.

A touching moment of unity was felt during the community singing of “Mapa,” bringing together learners, teachers, and parents in a shared expression of gratitude and pride.

The program concluded with closing remarks from Ma’am Sahlee Y. Donceras, Master Teacher I, followed by the singing of the AES Hymn—marking not just the end of a program, but the beginning of greater journeys ahead for AES learners.

Indeed, Araw ng Pagkilala 2026 was a celebration of excellence, resilience, and hope—where learners shone brightly and future leaders took their first steps toward success.

The celebration is anchored on the 2026 theme “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society,” with the sub-theme “Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!”

Nurturing New Educators: Alabang Elementary’s Teacher Induction Program

The Teacher Induction Program (TIP) at Alabang Elementary School continues to support newly hired teachers as they begin their professional journey in education. The program provides comprehensive guidance on DepEd policies, curriculum implementation, classroom management strategies, and effective teaching techniques to help beginning teachers perform their roles confidently and competently.

Under the leadership of Sir Raul T. Felix, School Principal and with the guidance of all the Master Teachers and TIP Focal Person Sir Ronie M. Macaraeg, beginning teachers participate in structured mentoring sessions, classroom observations, and collaborative discussions. Mentors share best practices and provide personalized support to help new teachers navigate challenges and adapt smoothly to the school environment.

Through these activities, beginning teachers are not only gaining practical skills but also building confidence in addressing the diverse learning needs of their learners. The program reinforces Alabang Elementary School’s commitment to fostering professional growth, collaboration, and a strong support system for educators.

An immersion activity was conducted at Alabang Elementary School last March 6, 2026 with the participation of students from West Bay College. The purpose of the immersion was to allow college students to engage with young learners and gain practical experience in interacting with pupils in a school environment. The activity involved giving of schools supplies to the ten selected pupils from Grades 1 to 6.

FOGGING ACTIVITY

Noong Pebrero 4, 2026, matagumpay na naisagawa ang fogging sa Alabang Elementary School sa tulong ng City Health Office (CHO) – Sanitation Department. Isinagawa ito bilang bahagi ng patuloy naming pag-aalaga at pagbibigay-proteksyon sa kalusugan ng ating mga mag-aaral, g**o, at kawani.

Bilang bahagi ng aming patuloy na koordinasyon sa City Health Office – Sanitation Department, ang paaralan ay regular na nagsasagawa ng mga sumusunod:

✔️ Lingguhang OL Trap Program – Isang paraan ng pagmo-monitor ng lamok kung saan naglalagay ng mga traps sa loob ng classrooms at offices upang matukoy ang presensya ng Aedes mosquitoes, ang lamok na nagdadala ng dengue. Simula ngayong school year, ang mga resulta ng OL Trap monitoring sa ating paaralan ay patuloy na “negative,” na nagpapahiwatig ng mababang posibilidad ng presensya ng Aedes mosquitoes sa school grounds.
✔️ Regular na pagmo-monitor ng school grounds para sa posibleng breeding sites
✔️ Lingguhang search and destroy activities na isinasagawa ng ating school staff

Ang fogging ay isa lamang po sa mga karagdagang hakbang upang mapalakas ang ating mga ginagawa, ngunit higit pa ring mahalaga ang araw-araw na pag-iingat sa loob at labas ng paaralan.

Search and Destroy – Linisin at alisin ang mga maaaring pamugaran ng lamok

Self-Protection Measures – Gumamit ng kulambo, mosquito repellant, at magsuot ng angkop na kasuotan

Seek Early Consultation – Agad magpatingin sa health center o doktor kapag may sintomas

Support Fogging/Space Spraying – Makipagtulungan sa mga health authorities kapag may mga ganitong aktibidad

Sustain Hydration – Panatilihing sapat ang pag-inom ng tubig lalo na kung may lagnat

Maraming salamat po sa inyong patuloy na pakikiisa, tiwala, at malasakit sa ating paaralan. Sama-sama po nating pangalagaan ang kalusugan at kaligtasan ng ating mga bata. đź’š
