Announcement regarding MIT EE Class '66 Golden Jubilee celebration in Manila on 26-29 February 2016

Hello Classmates,

Gold has always signified opulence and perfection, be it material, spiritual or intellectual. Fifty is a golden milestone, and 2016 marks the fiftieth anniversary since our class graduated in 1966.

It is only fitting that we celebrate this event in a glorious manner and nothing short of a reunion would be most appropriate. We have gone our separate ways, pursued different careers, had our taste of success and failures and had families of our own. Most of us may have retired and the desire to retrace steps taken and renew friendship now forgotten would be stronger than ever.

In our last email, we have advised you that the Class decided to make 2016 a memorable year for our MIT EE Class '66 by calling for a reunion. The celebration will be held in the Philippines from February 26 to 29, 2016 and the details of the activities are currently being finalized. Most of the celebration is planned to be held in a resort that is being checked out by our classmates in the Philippines.

Since this class would not be complete without your presence, will you please confirm your attendance to this celebration by July 15, 2015. This will allow us to better plan and finalize the activities.

In your confirmation, we would appreciate if you provide us the following information:

1. Number of persons who will staying in the resort
2. If you need a hotel reservation in the Philippines

It might also interest you to know that we are also exerting efforts to contact our former mentors who are still around. We are sure that they, too, will be eager to meet us again in a golden setting.
As mentioned in our previous email, we are sending this email using the latest email addresses we have. If you knew of some classmates that have changed addresses or is not in the address list, please forward this email to them with copy to us so we can update our list.
