Today, we remember Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., whose courage and love for the country inspired his fellowmen to stand for democracy. Even in the face of imprisonment, hardship, and danger, Ninoy remained firm in his beliefs.

May we to value our freedom, uphold the truth, and use our voices to help build a better Philippines for us all. 🇵🇭

Despite the rainy Saturday, around forty families gathered last August 15 for the first module of this school year’s New Parents Education Program (NPEP), which focused on Deliberate Parenting. NPEP aims to support and equip parents for their vital role as the primary educators of their children in character formation.

Moderators Jeff de Leon and Tonet Itchon led the plenary discussions, sharing practical insights and personal experiences. Through the case study method, parents were also encouraged to reflect on how intentional parenting, open communication, and self-mastery can help build stronger family relationships.

We look forward to more opportunities for everyone to learn together and share insights on the joys and challenges of parenting. Join us for Session 2 on September 12, 2026!

We commend our Grade 12 student Adreanne Serrano, whose article, “The Ends of Ethics: Does It Ever Justify the Means?”, was featured in The Daily Tribune under Bing Matoto’s column. In her piece, Adreanne takes on a timeless question: Do the ends justify the means? Is it acceptable to do whatever it takes to achieve a goal, even if the way we get there is not morally right? Using real-life issues, Adreanne shares her thoughts on how we can look at these difficult questions through an ethical lens.

Today, we celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, rejoicing in the beautiful truth that Our Lady was taken, body and soul, into Heaven.

In one of his homilies, St. Josemaría Escrivá shares: “Yes, we are still pilgrims, but our mother has gone on ahead, where she points to the reward of our efforts. She tells us that we can make it. And, if we are faithful, we will reach home.”

What does this mean for us? We don’t journey alone. Our Lady goes before us, showing us that with faithfulness, we can keep moving forward—even when life gets difficult, school work feels challenging, or we’re unsure of what comes next.

Our Lady's Assumption is a reminder to choose joy, hold on to hope, and trust in God’s plan for us.
