Medicine Night 2025 was the perfect, dazzling finale to 𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐆: 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓!

We have officially closed the curtains on a week packed with knowledge, passion, and milestone moments. Tonight, we came together as one family to celebrate our achievements, honor our awardees, and showcase the incredible talent that lives within the halls of PLMun-OsMun College of Medicine.

This entire week was a powerful reminder of our "𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐆", 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭. We proved that we are not only dedicated future physicians but also a vibrant community that knows how to support, uplift, and celebrate one another.

Our deepest gratitude to everyone who poured their heart and soul into making this week a monumental success from the planners to the participants, and everyone in between.

​𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟒 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐆: 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 was dedicated to one of the most significant events in a medical student's life: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲.

​Today, our students formally received their pins and stethoscopes, symbols of their solemn commitment to the art of healing, compassion, and service. This ceremony marks their official transition from preclinical studies to the clinical world.

​We were deeply honored to have the event graced by our esteemed guests, 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐥𝐮𝐩𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐑. 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐢 and 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐥𝐮𝐩𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫, 𝐇𝐨𝐧. In the demanding field of medicine, taking care of our mental health isn't just an option, it's essential. Our 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟑 talk for 𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐆: 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 shed light on this crucial topic, creating a safe space for much needed conversation.

A 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 to 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐦𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐏𝐡𝐃, 𝐑𝐏𝐬𝐲, 𝐑𝐩𝐦, for his enlightening and empathetic discussion on burnout, coping mechanisms, and resilience. Learning to identify the early signs of burnout and knowing how to respond is a critical skill for every medical student.

We're leaving Day 3 feeling more informed, validated, and equipped with practical strategies to protect our mental health and thrive, not just survive, in this profession.

Ang bawat isa sa atin ay sinag na may dalang pag-asa at kaalaman. Sa ating pagkakaisa, bumubuo tayo ng isang tanglaw na magsisilbing gabay at nagniningning na pag-asa para sa kalusugan ng buong bayan.
