Through the scholarship program, we are developing leaders who will play an active role globally and create the future by supporting them to receive high-quality higher education.

We support Filipino students with ambition and passion to acquire the knowledge they need to study in Japan at Japanese universities, understand Japanese culture, connect intellectually, and enhance each other's talents.

In the future, we hope that this scholarship student will make a significant contribution to the development and growth of Filipino society, Japanese society, and the world with a sense of mission, and that together with the Foundation, we will realize a better society and pass it on to the next generation.

Registration for the 2026 scholarship is scheduled to begin in July.

志や情熱を持ったフィリピン人の学生が日本の大学において、日本で学ぶ必要性のある知見を身に付けると同時に、日本の文化を理解し、お互いが知的につながり才能を活かし高めあうことを支援します。

将来、本奨学生が使命感を持って、フィリピン社会、日本社会及び世界の発展や成長に大きく寄与するとともに、当財団と共により良い社会を実現し、次世代へ継承していくことを期待します。

2026年度奨学金登録受付開始は7月を予定しています。

‼️⭐2025 Recap ⭐‼️

Our Munsci students went to the Japanese Film Festival, or EIGASAI last 28th of September, 2025, at the Shangri-La Plaza in Manila. Several movies were screened during the festival, some of which you may know, such as Spirited Away👻, Cells at Work🔴⚪, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM🤖, Teasing Master Takagi-San💓, and others.

It was a day where creativity and expression were most definitely shown through film, and a day students enjoyed.🎥✨

Japan and the Philippines have long been key partners in the Indo-Pacific region. Several political, economic, and cultural agreements have resulted in large people-to-people connections between the two nations that continues to underscore their special relationship.

From momentous partnerships such as the Reciprocal Access Agreement (RAA), the Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement (JPEPA), to the several milestones created in tandem by both countries such as the ongoing Metro Manila Subway and the North-South Commuter Railway, all of these efforts stem from the vast connections and bonds made by Japan-Philippines relations.

As today marks the 69th Anniversary of the Normalization of Japan-Philippines Diplomatic Relations, it is a momentous undertaking that the two countries continue to move forward in welcoming a new age of diplomatic relations, one where Japan remains committed to its promises of resolute support for the Philippines, whether this is through political, economic, or socio-cultural means.

Japan continues to provide a consistent sense of partnership and remains a key partner of the Philippines in the Indo-Pacific region.
