It was really indeed an engaging and collaborative seminar leaded by our dear guest speaker, Mr. Jonathan Dela Cruz, a Teacher in Poblacion, as he shared and provided insights about the understanding gender and s*xual diversity.

To Mr. Jonathan Dela Cruz, your presentation was not only informative, but also highly entertaining. Thank you so much for taking the time to speak at our event. Your insights and perspective were truly valuable, and we were all thoroughly engaged by your presentation. It was a pleasure to have you with us, and we hope you enjoyed the experience as much as we did.

We are also glad to see our dear participants, 8th year pilot students Amethyst and Jade by engaging and participating to the events' that makes this seminar more fruitful. And also, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our amazing teachers, Mr. Bien Dayuta and Mr. Erwin Moros for their huge support.

🌈 BUILDING BRIDGES : EP. 4

Nothing beats experience as the perfect learning tool.

We would like to thank first the Grade 9 - Acacia for their active participation as well as sharing lots of thoughts and opinions during our talk, β€œBREAKING BARRIERS : Changing the way YOUTHink”, a seminar on Gender and Development (GAD) conducted by group THE JUNIORS.

Thank you once again, to our School Principal, Dr. Antonio B. Rocha, for having his time to come and visit by showing his support through giving an inspirational message that made our seminar more powerful.

We are also very thankful to Mrs. Marie Syrille Barcelona, for her presence during the seminar as well as the life-changing lessons she had left with everyone in the room. Your message motivated us, and the grade 9 students to feel inspired thriving for a change and more diverse community.

To Mr. Jeric Cresines, your words of wisdom and experiences with life as a q***r teacher truly touched everyones hearts. It is an honor to be able to invite you and be our guest speaker to share insights for our seminar.

On behalf of the Grade 10 - Archimedes, our adviser Mr. Bienvinido C. Dayuta Jr, and the seminar committee, we would like to thank you all for being part of this unforgettable day. Your talk was a great success, especially with respecting to conveying important lessons regarding the awareness of preventing generational stigma as well as your journey for being part of LGBTQ+ community.

Despite the challenges we've faced in preparation of this big event, we were able to proudly execute and pull-off this seminar. Another mark for the ☝🏻 legacy!

It's time we break the stigma. The problem does not lie on the individuals and members of the LGBTQIA+ Community. The unending chain of homophobia is what's keeping us from having a healthy society.
