Intrapersonal skills are a type of soft skill that entails self-awareness. The path to a clear sense of self requires solitude and being:

Journaling, an activity both written and visual, is an expressive means to self-soothe;

In this very noisy world where children are oftentimes distracted, making time for self-reflection plays an essential role in their development too.

The art studio is a safe *and slow* space to claim our autonomy and calm, embracing the ways in which we're human.





In this workshop, we introduce an everyday medium, whose magic is often overlooked:

Paper is everywhere, but have we exhausted its ways of play?

*A program co-designed with collage artist , 𝗠𝘆 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘃𝗮𝘀 invites young artists to explore their concept of self through themes of home and belonging:

What is your favorite part of the house, and why is that so? 💡

If you were a piece of furniture, what would you be? 🪑





An interplay of fact, fiction, poetry, and metaphor, "Snippets of Home" encourages children to partake in the development of their own narratives,

Allowing them to be persons of their loving own  🤍

A plate of pancakes is no longer just a meal, but a tiny and textured terrain; 

The shape of bread, now a sculptural form worthy of being drawn; 

Jams colorfully painted on paper toasts, to be preserved instead of eaten.

Kandinsky WHO?

Who exactly is (Wassily) Kandinsky, you ask?

🔺️🔹️🔳🔶~\️⭕

Kandinsky, who is popularly known as the father of abstract art, is a Russian-born painter;

Known for his boldly rich art smack of saturated hues, strong lines, and interesting shapes, the artist bore works that revealed soulful connections between the realms of music, color, and movement. 🎶

Being our featured artist this holiday season, we'll be diving into pops full of festive patterns and shapes inspired by the whimsical spirit of Christmas cheer.

Think gift-wrapping paper, sparkly novelty, and the likes of childhood wonder. Think song and form and flow.

We'll make sure to make a mess -- RIGHTLY SO *in the studio.* ♡

(But only in the most beautiful explosions of color and in the rawest of ways.) 🎆

This is going to be fun.
