Pamilyar sa atin ang kantang 𝘼𝙡𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙖𝙥 ng 𝙀𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙨, lalo na’t madalas natin itong ginagamit sa mga post tungkol sa mga kaibigan, seksyon, at masasayang pagsasama. 🎶

Bukod sa kantang kilala natin, halina’t alamin ang buong kahulugan ng 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗮𝗽! 🙌🏻

📌 Ang 𝘈𝘭𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘢𝘱 ay tumutukoy sa mga ulap na makikita natin sa 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗴𝗶 𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗼 𝗵𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗱. Isa itong salitang Filipino na ginagamit upang ilarawan ang mga ulap na nabubuo at makikita sa itaas natin. Karaniwan itong makikita sa iba’t ibang hugis, laki, at anyo depende sa kung paano ito nabubuo. 🌥️

💡𝗕𝗨𝗞𝗢𝗗 𝗦𝗔 𝗞𝗔𝗛𝗨𝗟𝗨𝗚𝗔𝗡 𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗢, alam niyo ba na ang alapaap ay hindi lamang basta tawag sa ulap?

Dahil makikita ito sa kalangitan, madalas din itong ginagamit sa mga tula at iba pang akda bilang simbolo ng mga 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗽, 𝗸𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗮𝗻, 𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻. Pwede rin itong kumatawan sa mga bagay na nais nating maabot, sa pakiramdam ng pagiging malaya, o sa mga ideyang malaya nating naiisip at nabubuo sa ating isipan. 🤍

True service is not shown simply by doing charitable works—it is a commitment to upholding human dignity and justice for all even without wearing a cape or when no one is watching.

As we celebrate 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙃𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝘿𝙖𝙮, let this be a reminder that humanitarianism isn't about the grand gestures, but a kind choice we make each day.
A choice to:
- Help someone who's struggling;
- Stand up for the unheard and speak up for those in need; and
- Choose sympathy over judgement, and compassion over trouble.

As ASSH/HUMSS students, understanding humanity is at the core of who we are. Humanities is a field that teaches us to value people, justice and respect—learning to serve with a heart is crucial as we are being formed not just to excell academically, but to advocate for good deeds. 🌏🫂

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: The 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟭𝟮 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 successfully conducted their presentation of business proposals and product defense for the subject Entrepreneurship earlier 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟰 at 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝟮𝟭𝟴.

Each group proudly showcased their creative minds through unique and innovative food products themed around Filipino cuisine, earning them dishes that are not only delicious but also stand out from the rest.

All groups brought sample products for the distinguished panelists—𝙈𝙧𝙨. 𝙎𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙖 𝙉. 𝙑𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙪𝙚𝙫𝙖, 𝙈𝙧. 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙅𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙥𝙝 𝙉. 𝘾𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘽𝙗. 𝙍𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙖 𝘽. 𝙕𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙖—and earned valuable feedback on how they can improve their businesses and products.

𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗜𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗔 𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗚, 𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗨𝗞𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗡! 🇵🇭🧠

Bilang pagpupugay sa nakaraang paggunita sa Pambansang Araw ng mga Katutubo noong Agosto 9, narito ang isa sa mga 𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤 na sumasalamin sa ating pinagmulan at kultura.

Alam niyo ba na ang pagtatanggol ay may iba pang termino sa wikang Filipino? 🤔

🪶 𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗪 - Isang katutubong termino (lalo na sa Mindanao) para sa tradisyonal na pagtatanggol sa lupang ninuno o pakikipaglaban para sa katarungan ng tribo. Sa madaling salita, pakikipagdigma para sa karapatan.

Isang tanyag na halimbawa nito ay ang 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗔𝘁𝗮-𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗯𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝟭𝟵𝟵𝟰 sa 𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙤𝙙, 𝘿𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙤 𝙙𝙚𝙡 𝙉𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙚. Sa pamumuno ni 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝘂 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗽𝗼𝗴𝗮, buong tapang na ginamit ng mga katutubong bagani ang kanilang mga busog at pana upang itaboy ang kumpanya ng pagtrotroso na Alsons. Sa pamamagitan nito, matagumpay nilang naipagtanggol ang 19,000 ektarya ng kanilang lupang ninuno sa 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲.

Mula rito, makikita natin ang likas na pagmamahal at pagtatanggol ng mga Pilipino sa kung ano ang kanilang pag-aari. Nawa’y hindi lamang ito maging panibagong kaalaman ngayong araw, kundi maging paalala rin na pahalagahan at ingatan ang sariling atin—dahil bawat salitang Filipino ay may bitbit na kasaysayan at kultura. ❤️

💬 Ngayon na naintindihan na ang kahulugan ng salitang "Pangayaw," 𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐠𝐢 𝐦𝐨 𝐬𝐚 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐩 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐩!

Today, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 marks the celebration of 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆—a day dedicated to recognize the efforts, ideas, voices, and contributions of the youth. It is a day where we acknowledge not only what young people have achieved, but also the potential they have to create change in the years to come. 🌱💚

Everyday, young people show what they are capable of in different ways, this includes their ability to show their skills and talent, guide their fellow youth through many aspects, and to stand for what they believe is right. Being young is more than just being part of the next generation—it is also about having the chance to learn, express meaningful ideas, and take part in the changes happening around us. Even the little things we do can make a huge impact. 💡✊🏻

Let today serve as a reminder that there should be no age and time limitations to the changes we can make for ourselves, and for the people around us. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏽
