Nahubog ang pangarap niyang maging doktor dahil sa karanasang may karamdaman sa pamilya at sa paglaking may limitadong access sa serbisyong pangkalusugan. Nasaksihan niya kung paano naging hadlang ang kahirapan sa tamang gamutan, kaya’t nais niyang tumulong para mapunan ang agwat sa pagitan ng pangangailangan at kalusugan.
