As we celebrate today, we remember the bravery of millions who rose during the historic People Power Revolution and demonstrated that true power lives in the people.

EDSA is not just history. It’s a reminder that the power to shape our nation’s future remains in our hands.

One of the most exciting moments of the SPARKEd School Hub Seminar Workshop held on February 21, 2026, at St. Benedict Childhood Education Centre was the Ceremony of Agreement and Partnership for a new SPARKEd School Hub. This School Hub will empower the SPARKEd Center in its mission to drive inspired innovation and transform Philippine Education through the Lasallian Spirit. The occasion was marked by the symbolic handing over of the School Hub Lamp, received by a delegation from La Salle University led by Mr. Jeru Salem Andrada, LSU BEU Vice Principal for Academics, and Ms. Maria Alexandra Benitez, Education Technology Center Director.

Today, we celebrate a significant milestone: La Salle University Ozamis is now a proud SPARKEd School Hub, poised to support our mentoring initiatives across the Mindanao Region.

We are also thrilled to announce their inaugural SPARKED School Hub program, titled ‘TECHIgnitEd: Using Classroom Everyday Tools for an Innovative and Meaningful Learning Experience’. Mark your calendars—its first launch is scheduled for August 2026.

Last January 30, our very own Br. Bernard S. Oca FSC inaugurated the first SPARKEd School Hub. This flagship project will enable the Center to reach more Filipino teachers, especially in the Visayas, through St. Benedict Childhood Education Centre (SBCEC). Yesterday’s dream became a reality last February 19-21, 2026, when SPARKEd School Hub - SBCEC launched its first SPARKEd School Hub run.

SBCEC’s School Principal, Mr. Raffy Ballesteros, and our very own School Principal, Dr. Ruby P. Ramos, under the strong tutelage and leadership of Dr. Miguel Rapatan, sealed this agreement to have a common goal of inspiring innovation to transform Philippine Education.

Today, we congratulate and celebrate the brave plunge of SBCEC to be the first SPARKEd School Hub in the Visayan Region, where together, we will pledge to innovate and inspire our very own teachers to be inspirations of innovative work to bring the heart of our founder, St. La Salle, to teach minds, touch hearts, and transform lives a reality.

As we continue celebrating SPARKEd Center’s 10th year, we shall continue to enflesh the heart of St. La Salle in serving Filipino educators through innovative teaching and learning!
