📍 Take the correct jeepney route
📍 Know your drop-off points (e.g., Munisipyo or Bayan)
📍 From there, ride a tricycle or walk directly to PLMun

⚠️ Reminder: Always check jeepney signages carefully and make sure you’re on the right route going to your intended drop-off point.

𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗣𝗨𝗣𝗨𝗚𝗔𝗬 𝗦𝗔 𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗧 𝗞𝗔𝗚𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗡 𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗚𝗔 𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗢!

Ngayong ika-9 ng Abril, kaisa ang University Student Council sa paggunita ng Araw ng Kagitingan. Isang makasaysayang pagpupugay sa hindi matatawarang tapang ng mga Pilipinong tumindig at lumaban para sa kalayaan ng bansang Pilipinas noong Ikalawang Digmaang Pandaigdig.

Ang kanilang sakripisyo ay hindi lamang isang bahagi ng nakaraan kundi isang nag-aalab na sulo na gumising sa ating pagka-Pilipino. Ang kasaysayang ito ang nagpapaalala sa atin na ang pagmamahal sa bayan ay higit pa sa salita kundi ito ay naipapakita sa pagtataguyod ng dangal at pagpapahalaga sa ating kalayaang tinatamasa.

Nawa’y magsilbing inspirasyon ang araw na ito sa bawat mag-aaral at mamamayan na ipagpatuloy ang pag-alab ng pusong makabayan. Ipakita natin ang ating sariling bersyon ng kagitingan sa bawat larangan, tungo sa isang bansang malaya at matatag.

𝗛𝗘𝗥𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁: 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 🪷

The 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 successfully conducted the 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 on 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟯𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at the Soroptimist International Alabang (SIA) Hall, honoring women who have demonstrated excellence, leadership, and meaningful contributions in their respective fields.

The program opened with a prayer led by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗷𝗮𝗴𝗮, USC Junior Officer, followed by the recitation of the PLMun Mission, Vision, and Core Values facilitated by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗹𝗼𝗲 𝗦. 𝗦𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗱, Deputy Student Regent.

An inspiring message was delivered by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗘𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗮, Program Chair of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Operations Management, encouraging the community to continue recognizing the value and contributions of women. This was followed by 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘁. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗔𝗹𝗻𝗶 𝗚𝗮𝘃𝗷𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗕. 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗽, 𝗠𝗕𝗔, Assistant Vice President for Students’ Life and Development, who spoke about the important role of women in shaping ideas and creating solutions for today’s challenges.

A message from 𝗗𝗿. 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝗘. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗻𝗲𝗱𝗶, OIC University President, was shared through 𝗠𝘀. 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗼, while 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲 “𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲” 𝗚. 𝗧𝗲𝘃𝗲𝘀-𝗪𝗼𝗻𝗴, City Vice Mayor of Muntinlupa, expressed her support and appreciation for the initiative. 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗕𝗶𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻 also conveyed a message on behalf of 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗥𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗼 “𝗥𝘂𝗳𝗳𝘆” 𝗕. 𝗕𝗶𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻, City Mayor of Muntinlupa, emphasizing the importance of empowering women as a way of strengthening communities.

The event also featured performances by 𝗣𝗟𝗠𝘂𝗻 𝗗𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 and 𝗣𝗟𝗠𝘂𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘂𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮, adding energy and creativity to the celebration.

A key part of the program was the awarding ceremony, led by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗿𝗰 𝗠𝘆𝗾𝗮 𝗧𝘆𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗚. 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗮, College of Criminal Justice (CCJ) Councilor, and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗞𝗶𝗺 𝗚𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗮𝗴𝗮, College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Representative, where outstanding individuals were recognized: 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘇𝗮 (Pura Villanueva Kalaw Award), 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗘. 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 (Rizalina Ilagan Award), 𝗠𝘀. 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝘇 (Melchora Aquino Award), 𝗠𝘀. 𝗡𝗶𝗹𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘀 (Gabriela Silang Award), and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗹 (HERstorical Impact Award). Special recognition was also given to 𝗠𝘀. 𝗕𝗲𝗮 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗼, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗖𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺𝗮, and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗶𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗥𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘀 for their contributions.

The program was hosted by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻, College of Teacher Education (CTE) Councilor, and concluded with closing remarks from 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗘. 𝗕𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮, Student Regent, who expressed gratitude to everyone who made the event possible and reaffirmed the commitment to continue supporting and uplifting women. 🌸 ✨
