Ang City Government of Muntinlupa, sa pangunguna ng Muntinlupa Population Development Office (MPDO), ay nakipagsanib-pwersa sa Phlourish Mental Health Initiative Inc. para maghatid ng programs na naglalayong mapabuti ang mental health ng ating mga kabataan.

Ngayong buwan ng hunyo, ipinagdiriwang natin ang Dengue Awareness Month na may temang "Stop the Spread, Sama-sama nating Sugpuin ang Dengue!".

Ang dengue ay isang sakit na naisasalin sa tao sa pamamagitan ng kagat ng babaeng lamok na aedes na may dalang dengue virus (infected female aedes mosquito).

Upang makaiwas sa sakit na ito, sundin ang 5S laban sa Dengue:

1️⃣ Search and Destroy
2️⃣ Self-protect
3️⃣ Seek Consultation
4️⃣ Support fogging in outbreak areas
5️⃣ Sustain hydration

Pino-promote din ng City Health Office ang 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐥𝐮𝐩𝐚 𝐈𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐞!

𝐈 - Immediately report if you have symptoms.
𝐖 - Wear appropriate clothing
𝐀 - Apply insect repellant lotion
𝐒 - Search and Destroy possible mosquito breeding sites, and Spray insecticide as recommended by Muntinlupa Sanitation Inspectors.

Cupang Senior High School joins the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial to commemorate those who have died of AIDS, to bring hope to people living with HIV and to honor the people who have dedicated their lives in helping those living and affected by HIV positive individuals.

The School Health and Nutrition Unit in collaboration with SSLG conducted an awaress about HIV/AIDS Prevention and the relevance of .

Red ribbons were distributed among learners, teachers and staff to show their support in this advocacy.

The Cupsenhigh School Health and Nutrition Program encourage everyone to join the solidarity to come together as a community to show our support for those living with HIV and to work towards epidemic in the Philippines. Let us commemorate the lives of our friends and love ones who died because of AIDS related complications. Together, let's build a stronger communities at this year's International AIDS Candlelight Memorial.

Today is GLOBAL HANDWASHING DAY! 🙌🏻

This a global advocacy day dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding about the importance of handwashing with soap as an effective and affordable way to prevent diseases. 🫧🧼

The theme for this year’s celebration is “Clean Hands are Within Reach”.

Join us in celebrating this global advocacy! Always practice proper handwashing with soap and water. 💚

Ang vog ay isang uri ng polusyon sa hangin na sanhi ng mga bulkan. Binubo ito ng mga pinong patak na naglalaman ng volcanic gas tulad ng Sulfur Dioxide
(SO2).

👉🏻 ANO ANG EPEKTO NG VOG? 🫁

Maaring magdulot ito ng iritasyon sa mga mata, lalamunan at respiratory tract na maaaring maging malubha depende sa kosentrasyon o tagal ng pagkalanghap.

Mapanganib ang volcanic smog sa may mga kondisyon sa kalusugan tulad ng hika, sakit sa baga, sakit sa puso,
matatanda, mga buntis at mga bata.

👉🏻 MGA DAPAT GAWIN AYON SA PHIVOLCS

✅ Iwasan ang mga outdoor activities. Manatili sa bahay
at isara ang mga pinto at bintana.

✅ Protektahan ang sarili, gumamit ng nararapat
na N95 face masks o gas mask 😷

✅ Dalasan ang pag-inom ng tubig upang maibsan ang
iritasyon o paninikip ng daluyan ng paghinga.

✅ Magpatingin agad sa doktor o barangay health
unit kung makakaranas ng matinding epekto.

Nakiisa ang CSHS - Cupang Senior High School sa ginanap na Simultaneous Clean-up Drive laban sa Dengue.

Ito ay pinangunahan ng ating WINS Coordinator - Ms. Niña Sedano at ng ating School Nurse - Ana Mangussad, mga g**o at non-teaching personnel, kasama ang mga health workers galing sa Cupang Health Center.

Sa pamamagitan ng clean-up drive ay nakita ang mga posibleng pamugaran ng Aedes Aegypi o ang lamok na nagdadala ng sakit na dengue, ito ay kaagarang tinanggal o ‘di kaya ay sinira upang hindi na maging breeding place ng lamok.

Bukod sa paglilinis, pina-alalahanan din ng ating School Nurse ang mga mag-aaral patungkol sa iba pang paraan upang maka-iwas sa dengue.

“Ang dengue nagbabanta! Mag-5s para laging handa!”

Tag-ulan nanaman at isa sa mga sakit na nakukuha sa ganitong panahon ay dengue.

Ngayong Dengue Awareness Month, halina at makiisa sa Simultaneous Clean-up Drive mamayang 4pm!

Every May 31, we celebrate the World No To***co Day, the aim of this event is to highlight the health effects and risks associated with to***co use.

This year's theme is, "We Need Food, Not To***co". The 2023 global campaign aims to raise awareness about alternative crop production and marketing opportunities for to***co farmers and encourage them to grow sustainable, nutritious crops.

Nurse Ana conducted smoking prevention lecture to 280 Grade 12 learners, and at the end of her talk they said a pledge to be TO***CO-FREE led by the NDEP officers and affixed their signatures on the to***co-free wall.

Our principal - Ms. Jinky Santos along with the teachers and non-teaching personnel of Cupang Senior High School joined to be health advocates against smoking.

Together, let us all say YES TO HEALTH and NO TO TO***CO! 🚭🚭🚭
