August 22, 2026 โ Volunteers gathered at the Danilo V. Ayap (DVA) Gymnasium, where the 4th Bloodletting Activity, carrying the theme, โDugo Mo, Buhay Ko: Isang Patak ng Pagmamahal, Isang Buhay ang Masasalba,โ was successfully conducted. Together with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Lyceum of Alabang and the Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Muntinlupa. The event highlighted the institutionโs commitment to community service and the promotion of voluntary blood donation as a means of saving lives.
The activity brought together students, faculty members, staff, and community partners who shared a common goal of helping address the continuous demand for safe and adequate blood supply. Donors underwent a systematic screening process, beginning with registration and verification, followed by blood pressure monitoring and medical assessment to ensure that donors met the necessary health requirements.
A highlight of the event was the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Lyceum of Alabang and the Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Muntinlupa for Community Engagement and Extension Services. The agreement was ratified by Ms. Faith Ayap-Aquino, President/CEO of Lyceum of Alabang, and Hon. Rozzano Rufino โRuffyโ Biazon, Mayor of Muntinlupa City. The partnership signifies the commitment of both institutions to strengthen collaboration in implementing programs and initiatives.
The event also featured a series of messages and discussions that emphasized the significance of community service and blood donation. Among the speakers were Dr. Danilo V. Ayap, Chairman of Lyceum of Alabang; Dr. Carolyn Magalong, Head of the City Health Office; Mr. Vincent Julius Buenavidez, Director for Planning and Development; Mr. Jerson Napat, Director of the Reserve Officersโ Training Corps; and Ms. Mary Jane Millanar, Nurse II. Their messages highlighted the importance of volunteerism, civic engagement, and the collective effort needed to sustain lifesaving initiatives such as blood donation drives.
Also present during the event were Dr. Bartolome T. Tanguilig III, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Avegail Bartolome-Barreda, Head of Bleeding Partner, alongside other guests and partners who expressed their support for the program.
