The Lyceum of Alabang, together with its valued partners and community stakeholders, successfully conducted a Medical and Dental Mission dedicated to providing accessible healthcare services to the residents of Planas Ville, Brgy. Tunasan, Muntinlupa City.

The program began with registration and an opening prayer, followed by the acknowledgment of guests, visitors, and sponsors whose unwavering support made the activity possible. A welcome address by Ms. Faith Ayap-Aquino, MBA, set an inspiring message, emphasizing the importance of service, unity, and community engagement.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who shared their messages of support from the City Health Office Dra. Carolyn Magalong, Dr. Nonie Bumanglag from Dental Division of CHO, Hon. Paul Bono P. Teves - Barangay Kagawad of Barangay Putatan, SK Chairman Hon. Ryan “RP” Marmeto, and SK Kagawad Hon. Kurt Angle Lauron from Barangay Tunasan for their encouragement and dedication to promoting public health and community welfare.

Special thanks are also given to Mr. Vincent Julius C. Buenavidez for leading the Medical and Dental Mission Briefing, ensuring the smooth coordination and effective delivery of services throughout the event.

We also recognize the invaluable contribution of the School- Based NSRC Unit, School-Based Ready Reserve Unit and all dedicated volunteers whose time, effort, and commitment made this mission possible. Your service truly reflects the spirit of compassion and bayanihan.

Our sincere appreciation is extended to Gardenia Bakeries Philippines, Shakey’s Philippines - Putatan, Muntinlupa City, Ms. Mina Soriano for generously providing food and support, helping sustain both the volunteers and participants throughout the activity and to City Vice Mayor Honorable Stephanie Teves-Wong, Barangay Putatan Chairman Gerry Teves, Kagawad Hon. Paul Bono Teves, Mr. Joshua Almonte, Barangay Tunasan Chairman John Dave D. Arcilla, SK Chairman Ryan “RP” Marmeto for donating Medicines and Vitamins.

Through the collective efforts of healthcare professionals, volunteers, sponsors, and partner organizations, the mission successfully delivered essential care, promoted health awareness, and extended hope to the community—truly embodying service beyond walls.

The Bureau of Soils and Water Management recently carried out a successful capacity-building seminar and training at the Lyceum of Alabang, anchored on the theme “𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑺𝒐𝒊𝒍 𝒕𝒐 𝑺𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚: 𝑨𝒅𝒗𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑽𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆.” The program was designed to provide participants with both practical knowledge and hands-on experience in sustainable environmental practices.

The event opened with welcome remarks from Mr. Vincent Julius C. Buenavidez, who warmly greeted attendees and underscored the importance of environmental awareness and sustainable agriculture.

The learning sessions began with Mr. Renor G. Galicha, who introduced the fundamentals of the project components. This was followed by detailed discussions on composting materials, processes, and vermiculture techniques, led by Engr. Alresty S. Mationg. Both speakers then guided participants through a hands-on training, allowing them to observe and operate composting and vermiculture equipment, deepening their understanding of how these technologies work in practice.

Participants also gained direct exposure to sustainable farming methods and environmental technologies. To conclude the activity, they harvested crops at the LOA Farm, an experience that reinforced.

On this day, we celebrate the 𝘋𝘢𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘝𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘳 or "𝘈𝘳𝘢𝘸 𝘯𝘨 𝘒𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘯" to commemorate the bravery of our heroes, soldiers, veterans, and loved ones who fought and gave their lives for freedom, justice and peace.

Pursuant to Proclamation No. 1006, s. 2025, April 9, 2026 is declared a Regular Holiday. Therefore, there will be no classes and no office operations on this day.

With that in mind, let us take this moment to remember their heroism and deep love to our country. "𝑵𝒐𝒕 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒘𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒄𝒂𝒑𝒆𝒔." Some wears courage, love, and unity to fight for their rights and freedom.
