"There is no greater good in all the world than motherhood. The influence of a mother in the lives of her children is beyond calculation.โ
โJames E. Faust
They say that motherhood is job that lasts for a lifetime. You're not just a mother to your own children, but also a mother to others. You're not just a mother inside your home, you extend this motherhood to the community you belong to.
In our school, we often look up to our teachers as our second parents. Hence, the women inside the educational institution have always "mothered" us, nurturing us with powerful knowledge and lasting values, constantly supporting and directing us towards the right paths in achieving and reaching our dreams. Our "mothers" are those who always provide us the emotional support we need to keep on going. They, who, when we doubt ourselves, remind us of our purpose and motivates us to not give up, but to continue and move forward.
This Mother's Day, we not only honor and celebrate our parental mothersโwho birthed, nurtured, and reared usโbut also our second mothers, the parental figures inside the four corners of our classrooms. They, who endlessly and wholeheartedly devoted their lives in ensuring that we grow up to be educated and upright citizens of the society. Today, we remember them not as our teachers, but as mothers whose warm dedication to teaching and nurturing us students become cornerstones of an upright citizen of the society.
To all our professors and instructors, our second parentsโmothers, Ma'am, Nayโthe Social Studies Achievers Society warmly greets you a Happy Mother's Day. Your dedication and commitment to your craft is an undying profession of your unconditional love as our second parents. We salute you for mothering us and no thank you's will ever be enough to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of you.
Happy Mother's Day!

Last April 25, 2026, the Social Studies Achievers' Society conducted its Sixth Phase of their Community Extension Program in Sitio San Antonio, Poblacion, Muntinlupa under the theme, "Core Values and Civic Consciousness: Empowered Individuals, A Sustainable World: Acting Locally, Thinking Globallyโ.
The program begun with a Doxology, National Anthem, and singing of the Muntinlupa Hymn primarily facilitated by Ms. Maria Celenia S. Maga and Mr. Ralph Bryan S. Maravilla, welcoming all participants, students, professors, esteemed guests, and guests speakers to the event. They also opened the program by introducing the theme of the event to the participants and explaining the fundamental meaning behind it. The main theme of the 6th Phase was expounded thoroughly by the guest speaker, Mr. John Joeshwie Felipe, leaving remarkable and important impacts on the minds and hearts of the youth, students, and other guests.
Towards the ending of the program, it has been a delight to have the honorary Dean of the College of Teacher Education, Dr. Fermae L. Tamayao, who expresses her supportive message on the initiatives of the organization on conducting such an event. She also addressed the Faculty, the students, the young adolescents who participated in the event, her words leaving reflective remarks on the Community Extension's theme.
The 6th Phase of the Community Extension may have been the conclusion of the initiatives of the organization to continue educating the youth about the importance of having core values and civic consciousness, but it does not mark the end of the organization's mission of extending community service to other communities, especially in educating the youth. It is not only the impacts that should be highlighted in this continuous mission, but also the empowerment that it shall provide the youth to be upright citizens of the country in the future.
