Friday afternoons just got a whole lot more exciting! The RPPES Eagles Sports Clubs officially kicked into high gear as all RPPES pupils gathered for a productive afternoon of sports, teamwork, and skill-building.

Our young athletes spent the afternoon training hard, learning new techniques, and breaking a sweat under the expert guidance of our dedicated coaches:

Chess – Strategized and mastered with Sir Kash 🧠♟️

Athletics – Speed and endurance drills with Sir Pons 🏃‍♂️⚡

Volleyball – Serving and spiking practice with Ma'am Alpha 🏐🔥

Badminton – Footwork and smashing rallies with Ma'am Joan 🏸💪

From tactical mind games on the chessboard to high-energy drills on the court and field, every single Eagle showed up with incredible energy and sportsmanship today. We are so proud of our students' enthusiasm to learn and grow!

Young Filipinos need role models now, more than ever. In a world facing increasing conflicts, violence, misinformation, division, and the erosion of trust in institutions, the youth need to see examples of people who choose peace over anger, gentleness over aggression, and integrity over convenience. They need role models in their families who show patience, respect, and compassion; in schools where educators nurture not only academic excellence but also empathy, discipline, respect for others, and a deep sense of responsibility; in government and public service where leaders demonstrate honesty, accountability, and genuine concern for the common good; and in communities where people choose dialogue, understanding, and solidarity. At a time when young people are exposed to bullying, online hostility, toxic discourse, and the influence of violence in media and digital spaces, society must offer them living witnesses of kindness, courage, humility, and justice. The greatest lessons are often taught through the lives we model before them. A generation shaped by role models of peace, responsibility, and love for others can become a generation that builds a more compassionate and humane Philippines.
