Project SMILE was more than just a mission—it was a calling. With hearts ready to serve, teach, and listen, we journeyed to Palestina, not by chance but by purpose. For five meaningful days, we brought lessons, energy, and prayers, and in return, we received stories, smiles, and moments that changed us. Behind every child’s smile is a story, often heavier than their school bags, and we are grateful to have lightened that load, even just for a while.

More than teaching, we were called to be present—to offer light, connection, and hope. What began as a mission to inspire became a journey that transformed us. Project SMILE is a story of purpose and people coming together to make learning lighter and life brighter.

This mission would not have been possible without the generous hearts who stood behind us. We extend our deepest gratitude to the following supporters and sponsors:

•Vice Gov. Anthony Umali
•Konsehal Ariel Severino (Cabanatuan City)
•Konsehala Rowena Umali (San Antonio, N.E.)
•SK Chairperson Cyrus Jefferson Pascual
•Valerio Family (supported by Miss Jean Kathleen Valerio)
•Flores Family
•Ass. Prof. Verjun Dilla
•Mr. Rey Velasquez and kind-hearted friends/sponsors
•Mrs. Mary Joy Sandaan
•Mrs. Manilyn David
•Mrs. Michelle David
•Ms. Belinda Gonzalez
•Mrs. Tess Costales-Kincaid
•Mrs. Rosalinda Tomas
•Ms. Loi Bildan
•Ms. Nieasabeth Asuncion
•Mrs. Aliw Cusilit Romero

Your support gave life to this project and brought joy to every child we reached. This isn’t goodbye—it’s a lasting memory and a quiet promise to keep showing up, wherever hope is needed most.

Heartfelt congratulations to the ACADEMIC SCHOLARS of BSED VED 2-6 for an exceptional job well done this SECOND SEMESTER A.Y. 2023-2024!

Your journey has been filled with challenges, but your perseverance, dedication, and commitment have led you to this well-deserved success. Keep pushing boundaries, exploring new things, and believing in your potential.

Like what SB19 says, "Sa pag-abot ng pangarap, 'di hihinto. Handa 'kong harapin ang lahat, kahit pa imposible, we gonna go up" Don't let anyone destroy the fire burning inside you, keep going. And be reminded of what Bini says, "Sino bang nagsabi na kailangan kong mauna? Hindi naman ito karera, pwedeng mag dahan-dahan. " It is okay to take a little steps than do nothing.

Once again, congratulations, BSED VED 2-6! Your brilliance lights up your path. Four semesters to go, padayon ka-beloVED!
