IN PHOTOS | CLSU Employees Celebrate CSC Month Through Wellness Programs

The employees of Central Luzon State University switched into their athletic mode as the Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO) organized the CLSU Employees’ Sports Fest from September 21to 28, 2026, in solidarity with the nationwide celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.

Beyond the competitive spirit on the court, the HRMDO also organized a seminar on Rules and Administrative Cases in the Civil Service and provided free medical laboratory packages for university personnel.

Together, let us celebrate public service through unity, teamwork, and healthy competition.

The dining table is a place where laughter is shared, stories are told, and differences are mended over warm, shared meals.

Pursuant to Malacañang MC No. 136, s. 2026, Central Luzon State University, where employees and students are treated as family, joins Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day with a special feast to nourish not just our bodies, but our relationships.

To give everyone time to celebrate with their loved ones, work and classes across the university are suspended starting at 1:00 PM today, Monday, September 28, 2026.

LOOK | CLSU Earns Hall of Fame with 3rd Consecutive eNGAS Award

Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through its Financial Management Services Office (FMSO) under General Administrative Support Services, was conferred the prestigious Hall of Fame award as an Outstanding Electronic National Government Accounting System (eNGAS) User Entity for Calendar Year 2026.

The award was presented by the Government Financial Management Innovators Circle (GFMIC), Inc. during a ceremony held on September 22, 2026, at the Luxent Hotel in Quezon City.

This milestone marks CLSU’s third consecutive year winning the award since 2024. The eNGAS modernizes government accounting, serving as a digital tool to process public funds with speed, accuracy, and full transparency.

Guided by a strict culture of financial accountability, CLSU maintains a zero-tolerance policy for discrepancies. FMS Director Jinky Parugrug shared that even a single-centavo variance prompts mandatory revalidation. “This ensures that university funds for student services and infrastructure are strictly protected,” Parugrug noted.

Vice President for Administration Dr. Ariel G. Mactal accepted the award alongside Director Parugrug, Accounting Office Head John Mark Tangonan, and key representatives from the Accounting and Budget Offices.

LOOK | CLSU Produces 2 RPm Topnotchers; Sustains 94% Institutional Passing Rate

For two consecutive years, the Central Luzon State University (CLSU) College of Arts and Social Sciences, through its Department of Psychology, maintained its excellence by producing two topnotchers in the September Psychometrician Licensure Examination.

Leading the 106 successful examinees from the University are Mr. Gamaliel Valeroso, who secured sixth rank with a rating of 93.20%, and Ms. Precious Somera, who placed in ninth rank with a rating of 92.60%.

First-time examinees posted an exemplary 95.37% passing performance, while retakers achieved a 75% success rate, resulting in an outstanding overall passing rate of 94.64%—surpassing the national passing rate of 91.72%.

In celebration of the 37th National Statistics Month, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Region 3 invites every visual storyteller across Central Luzon to showcase their creativity through the lens.

This year's contest centers on the theme "Tuklas Pilipinas: Statistics as a Beacon Towards Inclusive, Resilient, and Sustainable Tourism".

The contest is open to all interested individuals within Central Luzon. Submission period runs until October 15, 2026.�

TIGNAN | Juana ng Wika 2026: Tinig ng Kababaihan, Yaman ng Wika at Kultura

Matagumpay na isinagawa ng Departamento ng Filipino ng Central Luzon State University (CLSU) ang Juana ng Wika 2026 noong ika-14 ng Setyembre. Tampok dito ang pitong natatanging kandidata na nagtagisan ng talino, talento, at adbokasiya para sa wikang Filipino at kulturang Pilipino.

May temang “Juana ng Wika 2026: Tinig ng Kababaihan, Yaman ng Wika at Kultura,” layunin ng paligsahan na itampok ang makapangyarihang boses at kakayahan ng kababaihan habang patuloy na pinahahalagahan ang pambansang wika at kultura.

Ayon kay Prop. Nenita P. Fabrigas, tagapayo ng Konseho ng mga Mag-aaral ng BAFil, mahalaga ang mga ganitong uri ng programa upang mabigyan ang mga mag-aaral ng plataporma para maipahayag ang kanilang mga saloobin at adbokasiya.

“Sa pamamagitan ng gawaing ito na Juana ng Wika, binibigyan natin ng bagong mukha ang bagong boses ng isang Pilipina. Isang Juana na hindi lamang maganda sa panlabas na anyo, kundi maganda sa isip, marangal sa puso, matatag sa paninindigan at mahusay gumamit ng kaniyang boses para sa mabuting layunin”, ani Prop. Fabrigas.

Matapos ang maigting na tagisan ng husay, itinanghal bilang Juana ng Wika 2026 si Zephaniah Jane Sampaga mula sa BSED FIL 2-5.

Nagsilbi rin ang programa bilang pampinid o pagtatapos na gawain ng Departamento, kung saan iginawad ang pagkilala sa mga nagwagi sa iba't ibang kumpetisyon tulad ng Kundiman, Modernong Balagtasan, Slogan Making, Pagkukuwento, Sanaysay, Poster Making, Lutuing Pinoy, at Quiz Bee.

LOOK | CHEDRO III Recognizes CLSU for Outstanding Performance in Global Rankings

Central Luzon State University (CLSU) has once again affirmed its standing on the global academic stage, after receiving recognition from the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office III (CHEDRO III) for earning the two prestigious international rankings - 83rd in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2026 and achieving Rank 601–800 in the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Rating 2026, during the PARANGAL Central Luzon 2026, on September 14, 2026, at Hotel Seoul, Clark, Pampanga.

Dr. Parsons N. Hail, Director of the International Affairs Office (IAO), represented University President Dr. Evaristo A. Abella during the awarding ceremony and received the certificates of recognition on behalf of the University.

PARANGAL Central Luzon 2026, the Premier Awarding and Recognition of Academic Networks, Global Achievements and Linkages, was one of the highlights of TANGLAW (Together Achieving National and Global Legacies for ASEAN-ready and World-Class) Central Luzon 2026.

Organized by CHEDRO III in line with the observance of ASEAN Month, TANGLAW Central Luzon 2026 forms part of the Commission’s continuing efforts to advance the internationalization of higher education institutions in Central Luzon and recognize their accomplishments in global engagement, partnerships, and international rankings.
