🌱🚜 RFAALC Inc. Hosts ATI-CL Training on Urban and Peri-Urban Agriculture Technologies 🚜🌱

Roxas Farm Assessment and Learning Center, Inc. (RFAALC Inc.) is honored to have served as the venue for the Training on the Fundamentals of Crop-Based Urban and Peri-Urban Agriculture Technologies conducted by the Agricultural Training Institute – Central Luzon (ATI-CL) on June 16–18, 2026 at Roxas Farm, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.

The three-day training brought together farmers from different barangays of Science City of Muñoz to enhance their knowledge and skills in modern and sustainable agricultural technologies that can help improve food production and livelihood opportunities.

Participants gained valuable insights on:
✅ Natural fertilizers and soil nutrient additives
✅ Composting and soil health management
✅ Urban and peri-urban agriculture technologies
✅ Hydroponics, aquaponics, and aeroponics systems
✅ Sustainable farming practices under the National Urban and Peri-Urban Agriculture Program (NUPAP)

“Hindi ko po makakalimutan. Pinag-aralan naman po natin noong elementary o high school ang iba't ibang peste ng halaman. Then yung mga peste o mga insekto, hindi po pala lahat ng nasa taniman namin ay nakakasira sa mga tanim. Ibig sabihin, may mabuti at may masama rin po pala. Naturo niyo rin po ang paggawa ng compost at sobrang makakatipid po tayo. Malaking tulong po sa ating lahat ang pagkakaroon ng training at seminar na ito. Maraming salamat po sa lahat,” Amelia O. Abaya, a farmer from Barangay Palusapis, shared her appreciation for the lessons learned during the training.
