anymore. For they not only survived the realm of science education that is wild and unpredictable ride to navigate but flourished.

Now that our freshman year is officially over, it's appropriate to recognize our growth. Though there were t𝟭m𝟯s when we wanted to give up, our tenacity and enthusiasm kept us going. Although the journey has been difficult, the accomplishments we have made each obstacle worthwhile. 🤟🏻

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER | Term Break for the 2nd Semester of the A.Y 2023 -2024

Surviving this semester, we have been struggling day-to-day just to accomplish tasks, review lessons for quizzes and exams, and meet the deadlines for every activity and assignment.

Upon raising our concerns, the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) responded with Memorandum No. 2024-03-15 (17), stating that classes from March 25 to March 26, 2024, will transition to online asynchronous in observance of Holy Week. Meanwhile, CLSU student interns or undergoing On-the-Job Training (OJT) shall still report until March 26.

In addition, according to the academic calendar for A.Y 2023 - 2024, students were initially given only March 27-30 for the Term Break; which also covers some days set as official holidays.

Despite the adjustment made, there are still academic loads that will add to our crosses for the Lenten Season. Instead of fully resting our minds and having time for ourselves, friends, and family, we cannot deny that some of our pending requirements need to be passed after and during the term break.

We still hope for a better and enough time to slow down and take a pause in this fast-paced semester. In the meantime, let us allow ourselves to still make the most out of these dates.

Stay guided and healthy, and let's continue to call for a right, just, and well-deserved rest Silesyuans!

Learning a new language can be incredibly difficult even more when you can't find ways to have actual conversations with native speakers to practice what you learned from the books.
