Yesterday, our amazing Grade 8 and Grade 9 students took the stage for their MAPEH Performance Task, bringing Philippine Folk Dance and Festival Dance to life! 💃🕺

This activity will also strengthen learners’ confidence, cooperation, physical coordination, and appreciation for local traditions—skills essential to well-rounded development.

Grade 8 – Philippine Folk Dance
o Practice and perform technical and expressive skills to develop proficiency in genre and style-specific techniques to enhance movement competence and physical activity participation.

Grade 9 – Festival Dances
o executes the skills involved in the dance
o involves oneself in community service through dance activities in the community

From colorful costumes to lively rhythms, they showcased not just skill and teamwork, but also the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines. A big round of applause to all our performers for making the event truly memorable! 👏
