Calero-Lanang Elementary School conducted a School Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session on the topics: Utilization of AI Platforms (Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini) and Evalbee Application for Assessment.

We extend our warmest appreciation to our resource speakers, Dr. Razzel Mae R. Ramos and Dr. Louis Pavel G. Ramos of Roman Tantoco Memorial School, for graciously sharing their valuable insights and expertise on these topics, respectively.

Through this session, our teachers were equipped with practical knowledge on integrating artificial intelligence into instruction and utilizing innovative tools for efficient and accurate assessment — furthering our commitment to continuous professional growth and instructional excellence.

In celebration of the Nutrition Month with theme "Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat para sa Lahat! Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan," Calero-Lanang Elementary School proudly joined the District Level Cook-Off 2026!

Representing our school were our talented Grade 6 - Honesty pupils, 𝙇𝙞𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙅𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙑. 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙙 and 𝙎𝙤𝙥𝙝𝙞𝙖 𝙅𝙖𝙣𝙚 𝙇. 𝙍𝙚𝙤𝙙𝙞𝙦𝙪𝙚, under the guidance of their dedicated coach, 𝙈𝙖'𝙖𝙢 𝙍𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙣𝙖 𝘿𝙑. 𝘿𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙖𝙣.

With creativity, teamwork, and a passion for nutritious cooking, our young chefs whipped up their delicious 𝙎𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙜𝙤 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙨— a healthy and flavorful dish that impressed the judges and earned them 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄🥉

🇵🇭 UNITED IN SOVEREIGNTY, UNITED IN PATRIOTISM 🇵🇭

Calero-Lanang Elementary School joined the nation in commemorating the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 Arbitral Tribunal Award through a classroom-based flag raising ceremony held this morning.

As part of the observance, learners viewed a video on the West Philippine Sea provided by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), deepening their understanding of the historic ruling that affirmed the Philippines' sovereign rights over its maritime territory.

Through this meaningful activity, Calero-Lanang Elementary School continues to nurture patriotism and national awareness among young Clesians, reminding them that the fight for sovereignty is also a story they carry forward.

Calero-Lanang Elementary School conducted a School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) Session addressing 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 𝟭𝟱 𝘀. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 𝟭𝟲 𝘀. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The session served as an orientation for the faculty on the Revised Guidelines on Classroom Assessment, Grading System, and Awards and Recognition for the K to 12 Basic Education Program (DO No. 15, s. 2026), as well as the newly issued Guidelines on Lesson Planning and Learning Design under the ILAW Framework (DO No. 16, s. 2026).

Teachers were apprised of the salient provisions of both issuances, including the phased implementation of the grading system and the shift toward a more streamlined, learner-centered approach to instructional planning.

This professional development activity underscores the school's commitment to ensuring that its teaching personnel are adequately informed and prepared for the effective implementation of these policies. Calero-Lanang Elementary School, through the continued guidance of School Head 𝙈𝙖'𝙖𝙢 𝙇𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙩 𝙎.
