𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗗𝗔 𝗘𝗦𝗞𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘

In support of Brigada Eskwela 2026, the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) Department of Davao de Oro State College – Montevista Branch, through the collective efforts of the ELITE Organization, NEXUS, BSED Faculty, Student Welfare Unit, and Office of the Branch Director, conducted a donation drive for Montevista National High School and Montevista Stand Alone Senior High School.

The donations, consisting of hygiene kits and school supplies, were turned over to support the needs of learners and contribute to a safe, healthy, and conducive learning environment for the upcoming school year.

This initiative reflects the institution’s commitment to community engagement, educational support, and the spirit of volunteerism and collaboration embodied by Brigada Eskwela.

A total of 89 teacher education students at Davao de Oro State College Montevista Branch took a campus-wide mock licensure examination on May 2, 2026, simulating real board conditions to assess readiness for the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers.

[𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦] 𝗗𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗖–𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝟯

Davao de Oro State College–Montevista took part in the Battle of the Brains Season 3, a regional academic competition held on April 23, 2026, at the Grand CAP Auditorium, Davao City, gathering some of the brightest student minds across Visayas and Mindanao.

Representing the college were third-year student Khiana Chriselle Lomansok and fourth-year students Angel Rose Gongora and Anna Marie Alamis. The team competed alongside 183 participants from 60 state universities and colleges, engaging in a rigorous contest that tested knowledge, critical thinking, and composure under pressure.

Organized by the Falculan Twins, the event provided a platform for intercollegiate academic exchange and intellectual challenge, highlighting the depth of talent in higher education institutions across the region.

Accompanied by their coaches, Alren Dabon, MEd-ECE, and Antonino Oblianda, the DDOSC delegates embraced the opportunity to represent the institution and gain valuable competitive experience on a wider stage. Their participation reflects the college’s ongoing commitment to academic engagement and the development of its students beyond the classroom.
