Five alumni of Davao de Oro State College took their oath as second lieutenants in the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) during the graduation ceremony today, December 1, 2025, at Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac.

The quintet includes 2LT Ronne Jay L Quiao PA; 2LT Mark Bryan T Lapeña PA; 2LT Gennal A Napoles PA; 2LT Ariel W Mendoza Jr PA; and 2LT Francis S Garcia PA, all of whom successfully completed the rigorous year-long training Officer Candidate Course Class 63–2025 “BUMANNAWAG”.

The DDOSC ROTC UNIT – MONTEVISTA CAMPUS successfully conducted its scheduled formation, beginning with the MORNING REVEILLE led by 𝐂𝐃𝐓 𝟏𝐋𝐓 𝐋𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐗𝐈𝐒 𝐉𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄, 𝟐𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐋, who fulfilled his duty as REVEILLE COMMANDER. The COQC also engaged in a practical activity as they learned the PROPER EXCHANGE OF COMMAND, strengthening their discipline and leadership readiness.

In the afternoon, the ADVANCED OFFICERS performed the ACCOUNTING OF THE TOTAL STRENGTH of all CADETS AND CADETTES, ensuring proper monitoring and adherence to unit standards.

The formation continued with the CLASSROOM DISCUSSION, covering essential topics under:

📢 𝟕𝐓𝐇 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍‼️

On 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, the Davao de Oro State College - Montevista ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, showcasing discipline, teamwork, and commitment to service.

The day began with the Morning Reveille, led with precision by Reveille Commander: 𝐂𝐃𝐓 𝟏𝐋𝐓 𝐋𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝟐𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐋, together with the Advanced Officers.

This was followed by the Afternoon Classroom Discussion focusing on MS1: Rule of Law, an essential lesson that upholds integrity and responsibility among cadets. The session was delivered by 𝐂𝐃𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐉 𝐎𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐏. 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐧 𝟏𝐒𝐓 𝐂𝐋 and 𝐂𝐃𝐓 𝟏𝐋𝐓 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐬 𝟐𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐋, who shared valuable insights to strengthen the cadets’ knowledge and leadership foundation.

In the afternoon, cadets engaged in Manual of Arms and Drills and Ceremonies, further enhancing their discipline, uniformity, and mastery of military movements.

Through continuous training, the cadets embody excellence, respect, and readiness—guided by the core values of the ROTC program. 🇵🇭🫡
