School is supposed to be a place where we grow, learn, and feel secure, but that's impossible if people are dealing with intimidation, harassment, or abuse behind the scenes. Today's symposium really opened our eyes to how deeply connected anti-bullying and the protection of women and children are it all comes down to respect, power dynamics, and speaking up when something isn't right.

Hearing from the speakers made it clear that creating a truly safe environment takes more than just school rules, it takes a community that refuses to look the other way. Whether it's calling out a harmful joke in the hallway, supporting a friend who's going through a tough time, or knowing the resources available to help victims of VAWC, every little action counts. Let's take what we learned today, keep these tough conversations going, and make sure our campus is a genuinely safe space for everyone.
