𝖧𝗂𝗌𝗍𝗈𝗋𝗂𝖼𝖺𝗅 𝖬𝗂𝗅𝖾𝗌𝗍𝗈𝗇𝖾 𝖴𝗇𝗅𝗈𝖼𝗄𝖾𝖽! 🔓🧑‍🍳

The Southern Philippines College of Technology of Comval, Inc. (SPCT) successfully wrapped up its first ever 𝖢𝗎𝗅𝗂𝗇𝖺𝗋𝗒 𝖮𝗅𝗒𝗆𝗉𝗂𝖼𝗌 held at the Monkayo Dome, Poblacion, Monkayo, Davao de Oro, last July 22, 2026.

The event commenced with a processional by the competing participants, faculty and staff, committees, distinguished judges, and honored guests. Followed by the opening remarks by the school administrator, ma'am 𝖤𝗆𝗆𝖺 𝖲. 𝖲𝗎𝖺𝗋𝖾𝗓 where she expressed her gratitude towards the working committees for helping in the realization of the said event, also mentioned during her speech was mayor 𝖬𝖺𝗇𝗎𝖾𝗅 𝖩𝖺𝗒𝖱 𝖹𝖺𝗆𝗈𝗋𝖺 for his kind approval for permitting to use the venue, and Congresswoman of the 1st District of Davao de Oro, 𝖬𝖺. 𝖢𝖺𝗋𝗆𝖾𝗇 𝖹𝖺𝗆𝗈𝗋𝖺-𝖬𝖺𝖻𝖺𝗇𝗀𝗅𝗈 for her undying support to the institution ever since its establishment.

Furthermore, various partner schools of the institution were also present during the event such as 𝖬𝗈𝗇𝗄𝖺𝗒𝗈 𝖭𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇𝖺𝗅 𝖧𝗂𝗀𝗁 𝖲𝖼𝗁𝗈𝗈𝗅, 𝖳𝗎𝖻𝗈-𝖳𝗎𝖻𝗈 𝖭𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇𝖺𝗅 𝖧𝗂𝗀𝗁 𝖲𝖼𝗁𝗈𝗈𝗅, 𝖴𝗇𝗂𝗈𝗇 𝖭𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇𝖺𝗅 𝖧𝗂𝗀𝗁 𝖲𝖼𝗁𝗈𝗈𝗅-𝖬𝗍. 𝖣𝗂𝗐𝖺𝗍𝖺 𝖠𝗇𝗇𝖾𝗑, and 𝖡𝖺𝗇𝗍𝖺𝖼𝖺𝗇 𝖭𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇𝖺𝗅 𝖧𝗂𝗀𝗁 𝖲𝖼𝗁𝗈𝗈𝗅, duly represented in flesh by their teaching personnel and selected students, thoroughly observing and watching every competition from table setting, skirting, backdrop making, cake designing, cooking, fruit carving, to bar/flair tending, each remarkably left an impact to the audiences making sure they enjoy and at the same time learn new knowledge, which are the sole purpose of their attendance.

Meanwhile, 𝖳𝖾𝖼𝗁𝗇𝗂𝖼𝖺𝗅 𝖤𝖽𝗎𝖼𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇 𝖲𝗄𝗂𝗅𝗅𝗌 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝖣𝖾𝗏𝖾𝗅𝗈𝗉𝗆𝖾𝗇𝗍 𝖠𝗎𝗍𝗁𝗈𝗋𝗂𝗍𝗒 (TESDA) Davao de Oro Provincial Director, sir 𝖠𝖽𝗈𝗇𝗂𝗌 𝖥. 𝖢𝗎𝗅𝖺𝗌, 𝖱𝖭/𝖬𝖯𝖬, represented by ma'am 𝖬𝖺𝖿𝖾𝗅 𝖩𝗈𝖺𝗇 𝖭𝖾𝗀𝗋𝗂𝖽𝗈-𝖦𝖺𝗆𝖺𝗅𝖾, TESD Specialist, congratulated the SPCT for holding this kind of event which uplifts the future professionals in the field of hotel industry while highlighting the fact that this is a historical moment since this is the very first time in the province of Davao de Oro to held skills olympics in the field of hospitality management and first ever in the Municipality of Monkayo.

The event was concluded by a closing remarks delivered by ma'am 𝖬𝖺. 𝖪𝖺𝗋𝗂𝗌𝗌𝖺 𝖪𝖺𝗋𝗅𝖺 𝖲. 𝖲𝗎𝖺𝗋𝖾𝗓, Supervised Industry Learning (SIL) Officer and SPCT Faculty Member who personally thank the participants for pouring their best in their respective competitions and for their hardwork and dedication, she also extends her heartfelt gratitude to the partner schools for their participation, LGU Monkayo headed by mayor Zamora, committees, judges and guests-- who truly served as the backbone of the success of this event.

Maayong adlaw!

Ginatawagan ang mga interesado muskwela nga related sa Hotel and Restaurant, para sa mga indibidwal nga naga trabaho ug gustong magpadayon sa ilahang pag iskwela, pwede mo ani sa Weekend Class.

Sa barato ka kantidad, mamahimo na kamong maka enroll ug maka skwela sa kursong 3-Year Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Technology. Ang studyante mamahimo lamang mu sulod og face-to-face either sabado or dominggo. Ang ubang subjects ipaagi kini sa online or modular. Magamit ninyo ang weekdays para sa mga nanrabaho.

Aduna usab kitay mga industry partners nga mamahimong posibleng didto mag OJT (on the-job-training) para makat-on sa mga taas nga standards sa aktwal nga pag trabaho. Apil niini ang international deployment pero optional lang. Naa pud tay domestic deployment sa barko.

Ang studyante niini, paying. Naay bayad, og dili scholarship.

**Padayon pa kita sa pagpaabot og scholarship slots sa TESDA. Og muabot na kini, ma waive na ang tanang tuition, laboratory fees ug miscellaneous. Selected lang pud ang maka dawat sa scholarship og maabot. Posible pong ma utro ang scheduling kung masakop ang isa ka studyante sa scholarship program.

Naay 12 ka National Competencies (Level 2, 3, 4) ang mao nga kurso.

Kining mga impormasyon mas mapasabot sa orientation karong JUNE 17, 2026 9am diri sa atoang skwelahan, SPCT, Purok 2, Samuag, Poblacion, Monkayo, Davao de Oro.
