Today, February 27, 2026 (Friday), our Grade 6 learners took part in the Division NAT-Like Pre-Examination conducted by the Schools Division of Davao de Oro as part of the preparation for the upcoming National Achievement Test.

This activity helps assess our learners’ readiness and strengthens their confidence as they prepare for the actual examination. We are proud of our students for their focus, determination, and effort today.

ADM UPDATE!!!

On February 19, 2026, in line with the class suspension, our school continued the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) to ensure learning didn’t stop.

Learners completed their assigned tasks and modules at home, with parents and guardians supporting them every step of the way.

ADVISORY: SHIFT TO ALTERNATIVE DELIVERY MODE (ADM)

Based on the recommendation of the Office of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer, all classes in the Municipality of Monkayo are suspended today, February 13, 2026.

In response, Banlag Elementary School shifts to Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) to ensure that learning remains safe, continuous, and accessible despite the occasional heavy rainfall. Lessons and activities have been shared through our class group chats so that education will not be disrupted.

Rain may pour, but our commitment to learning stands strong.

Together, we prove that no storm can stop education.

SHIFTED TO ADM / ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES

Banlag Elementary School shifted to Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM) to keep learning safe and continuous during Typhoon Basyang on February 5-6, 2026. Lessons and activities were shared through class group chats. Despite challenges such as power interruptions, pupils showed resilience by resuming tasks and submitting outputs once electricity was restored. Truly, learning continued amidst the storm.

A NEW ERA FOR OUR LEARNERS!

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Department of Education in partnership of Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) specifically to our Schools Division of Davao de Oro headed by SDS Ma'am Phoebe Gay L. Refamonte, and Engr. Bob Dylan Milabat (Division ICT Coordinator), for the installation of the Starlink satellite internet system in our school.

This initiative is a vital step in supporting the MATATAG Agenda, providing our educators and learners with the reliable, high-speed connectivity essential for 21st-century education. We are excited to integrate these digital tools into our daily curriculum and administrative operations.

Banlag Elementary School successfully celebrated National Bible Month 2026 with the active participation of our Teachers, Parents, Pupils, and Guest. The program featured inspiring presentations from our Kinder to Grade Six Pupils, showcasing their talents, confidence, and love for God’s Word.

This activity reminded everyone of the importance of the Bible in guiding daily life and shaping good character. The event truly served its purpose of inspiring the school community to live by faith, love, and service.

Banlag Elementary School teaching and non-teaching personnel, together with the pupils, successfully participated in the Municipal-Wide Clean-Up Drive Activity. The activity aimed to promote environmental stewardship and raise awareness of the importance of maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment. Through collective effort and cooperation, the school community demonstrated responsibility and strong commitment to protecting and caring for the environment. PADAYON TA!
