Our school proudly congratulates Kim Jian Canteros and Shaine Valerie Paraiso, both Grade 10 students, for winning 1st Place in the District Level Advocacy Pitch during the Festival of Talents in English last March 5, 2026.

Through dedication, teamwork, and consistent training, they demonstrated confidence, critical and creative thinking, and a strong voice for advocacy.

As our Division Level Qualifiers, we extend our prayers and best wishes as they advance to the next level of the competition. May they continue to be guided with wisdom, courage, and confidence as they represent our school.

Congratulations, Kim Jian Canteros!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to DOST Davao de Oro, who made a special effort to personally visit our school and award the Plaque of Recognition to our deserving student.

We proudly celebrate the achievement of Kim Jian Canteros for winning Best Feature Story 2025 in the SETI FEATURES: Feature Story Writing Contest, held during the Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (RSTW) last August, 2025!

Your talent, dedication, and passion for writing have brought honor and pride to Casoon National High School.

We extend our deepest gratitude to DOST Davao de Oro, represented by Ma’am Grace Ricardo, Senior Science Research Specialist, and Ma’am Jennieh Lou F. Lebrillo, whose efforts truly made this awarding meaningful and successful.

Ma’am Grace also expressed her appreciation for our school’s continued use of the DOST Starbooks, and shared a wonderful update: a replacement monitor will be possibly provided after ours was damaged during the recent earthquake. She further encouraged our Grade 12 learners to apply for the DOST Scholarships, briefly explaining the process and inspiring our students to pursue opportunities in Science, Engineering, Technology, and Innovation.

Despite challenges we once thought would hold us back, a new door opened—and winning this award proves that Science, Engineering, Technology, and Innovation are limitless and know no boundaries. 🚀🔬💡

🚀✨ Science Month 2025 is here! ✨🚀

📌 This year’s theme:
🌍🔬 “Spatialyze: Surveying Societies, Sensing Solutions.” 🌍🔬

We officially kicked off the celebration yesterday, September 1, 2025, with an opening program facilitated by our Science teachers in each classroom! 💡

Fun and engaging activities were prepared, including:
🎥 Watching awesome science videos
❌⭕ Playing Tic-Tac-Toe with a Science Trivia twist
🖼️ The creative Frozen Picture activity featuring famous scientists
…and many more!

🌱 After the classroom fun, everyone joined the synchronized planting of flowers, root crops, malunggay, and fruit trees around the school—a meaningful way to celebrate science and nature together! 🌿🌸🍠

We’re super excited for the month-long Division-Wide Project IISA: Integrative & Inclusive Science Activities for students, initiated by our very supportive EPS, Sir Emman Clarion . 🙌

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Division’s Education Program Specialist in Science, Sir Emman Clarion, for his quick yet very meaningful visit today.

Though brief, his presence brought valuable insights and encouragement—not only for the improvement of our Science Laboratory, but also for the overall development of the school, including the physical environment and the professional growth of teachers. All these efforts are geared toward one goal: ensuring the best for our learners.

Thank you, Sir Emman, for your dedication and support for the holistic improvement of our school. Your guidance truly inspires us to work harder in creating a more conducive and nurturing learning environment.

In accordance with Division Memo CID-2025-055, "Observance of National Bible Month," as per Republic Act 11163 and Presidential Proclamation No. 124, Casoon National High School, in coordination with the GKK-San Isidro Labrador, actively participated in this year's event with the theme "God's Word: Source of Hope."

The following activities were conducted: a brief history of National Bible Month was presented to faculty and students; teachers, led by Mr. Bernardino Causapin (an EDCOM member, Bible Apostolate member, and lector), conducted a Bible enthronement ceremony, a Bibliolog activity, and a short Bible sharing session. Students also wrote reflection papers on their favorite Bible verse and explained why it resonated with them. We anticipate further Bible reading activities will be incorporated into future reading sessions.

We extend our grateful thanks to Mr. Causapin and Pastor George Alonzo, Moral Recovery Program president, for their invaluable support in fostering our students' spiritual growth.
