ALCUCOA is the accreditation agency of local government universities and colleges. It was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on December 9, 2003.
ALCUCOA is a founding member of the National Network of Quality Assurance Agencies (NNQAA) registered with SEC on January 8, 2004 together with AACUP, the accreditation agency of state universities and colleges. It is a member of the Coordinating Council for Accreditation composed of accrediting agencies for private and government HEI’s created on January 19, 2009. It was an active partner of ALCU during the Employment Summit held on March 5 & 6, 2009 with the theme “Activating Academe-Industry Network for Employability and Entrepreneurship together with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) and the University of Makati.
