In Observance of National Flag Day 2026
With pride, patriotism, and deep respect for our nation, Maluac Elementary School proudly joins the entire country in the observance of National Flag Day 2026. This meaningful celebration reminds every Filipino of the bravery, sacrifices, and unity of our heroes who fought for the freedom and sovereignty of the Philippines.
As part of the celebration, the school conducted a solemn and inspiring Flag Raising Ceremony attended by school officials, teachers, learners, parents, and stakeholders. The ceremony began with the proper hoisting of the Philippine flag, accompanied by the singing of the national anthem, “Lupang Hinirang,”. The activity served as a reminder that the Philippine flag is not merely a symbol, but a representation of the nation’s history, dignity, courage, and aspirations.
The school grounds were also adorned with properly displayed Philippine flags to emphasize the importance of honoring the country’s national emblem. Through these displays, learners were encouraged to appreciate the significance of patriotism, nationalism, and responsible citizenship. Teachers likewise integrated discussions about the history and importance of the Philippine flag in classroom activities to deepen the students’ understanding of its value.
