Last August 11, 2026, the Moncada Catholic School, Inc. joins school administrators, and other Catholic educators from across Central Luzon for the 2nd CEAP R3 Regional Assembly at Holy Angel University, Pampanga.

The participants from different Catholic institutions come together with a shared mission and goal: to continue to be guiding lights in education, forming minds, shaping hearts, and inspiring lives through the Gospel and the mission of Catholic education.

NO FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES | August 10, 2026

Pursuant to DOST-PAGASA Weather Advisory No. 32 and Department of Education Order No. 14, s. 2026, regarding the heavy rainfall outlook associated with the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), please be informed that all in-person classes across all levels within the Moncada Catholic School (MCS) community are officially suspended tomorrow, August 10, 2026.

With this, ALL CLASSES WILL BE HELD ONLINE. Students are encouraged to always check their respective group chats for further announcements.

The safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and personnel remain our utmost priority. All members of the MCS community are strongly advised to stay indoors, monitor official weather updates and take necessary precautions during this inclement weather.

Today, we solemnly commemorate the Feast of St. Dominic of Guzman, founder of the Order of Preachers, and a faithful servant of the Church who dedicated his life to the preaching of truth, the pursuit of holiness, and the salvation of souls. Born in Caleruega, Spain, around 1170, St. Dominic was known for his profound love for Sacred Scripture, prayer, and learning.

Did you know?

St. Dominic is traditionally associated with the origin and spread of the Holy Rosary, particularly through the preaching tradition of the Dominican Order.

On this feast, may the example of St. Dominic remind us that truth must be sought with humility, nurtured through prayer, and shared with charity. May his life inspire us to become witnesses of faith, committed to learning, service, and the proclamation of the Gospel.

SCHOOL ADVISORY | August 6, 2026

Pursuant to the declaration of the Office of the Governor and Memorandum Circular No. 122 issued by the Office of the President, all face-to-face classes today, August 6, 2026, are suspended due to the persistent effects of Typhoon Maymay and the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

With this, flexible learning setup will be conducted. Learners are advised to check their class GCs and Google Classrooms for the online class links and activities.

ADVISORY

In view of the hoisting of Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 over Tarlac due to Tropical Depression MAYMAY, all face-to-face classes today, August 5, 2026 in Moncada Catholic School, Inc. are hereby suspended.

To ensure the continuity of learning while prioritizing the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff, all classes shall be conducted through online synchronous learning via Google Meet following the regular class schedule.

The examinations of Grade 12 which is, originally, to be held today, will be moved in August 6 and 7, 2026.

"MAY PASOK NA BUKAS"

ON THE CONDUCT OF CLASSES TOMORROW

In the absence of an official class suspension advisory, regular face-to-face classes shall be conducted tomorrow.

Should the LGU officially announce the suspension of classes, all teachers are directed to conduct synchronous online classes via Google Meet to ensure the continuity of learning. In such a case, all scheduled trainings and the Athlete's Check-up shall also be suspended.

Pursuant to DOST-PAGASA Weather Advisory No. 8 and DepEd Order No. 14, s. 2026, following the issuance of the Orange Rainfall Warning, all in-person classes at all levels in both public and private schools within the Municipality of Moncada are hereby suspended on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

The MCS community is advised to prioritize safety and take the necessary precautions as Tropical Depression Luis continues to affect the area. All MCSians are encouraged to monitor the school's official communication channels for further announcements regarding academic activities and other related updates.
