Selected student leaders from Grade 7-12 of San Pedro National High School (SSLG, YES-O, BKB, and BSP), together with the teaching faculty, took part in Project CALM (Creating Awareness for Lasting Mental Wellness) held on March 5, 2026 at the Westwood Farm Events and Accommodation, the event served as a meaningful space for awareness, reflection, and growth.🧠🫂🪞💡

Through the knowledge shared by the speakers, the program became more than just an event. It reminded everyone that caring for our minds and hearts is essential in becoming stronger individuals and responsible leaders.✨️

In celebration of its Foundation Day, PROJECT SHINE (San Pedro National High School’s Holistic Initiative for Nurturing Excellence) stands as the flagship program of San Pedro National High School, highlighting the school’s commitment to unity, academic excellence, creativity, and community partnership under the theme “Shining Together in Excellence and Unity.”

The celebration unfolds through key activities that reflect holistic student development. The SPNHS Quiz Bee on February 23, 2026, guided by Teacher-in-Charge Nerissa R. Marquez, will focus on SPNHS History, challenging Grade 7 to Grade 12 student representatives to showcase their knowledge, confidence, and understanding of the school’s heritage and milestones.

This is followed by the Seminar on Academic Pressure: Understanding, Support, and Partnership Between Students and Parents on February 24, 2026, led by Teacher-in-Charge May R. Tolentino, designed to help students and parents recognize the challenges of academic stress, develop effective coping strategies, and strengthen collaboration to support holistic student growth and well-being.

On February 26, 2026, the SPNHS Video Challenge with the theme , supervised by Teacher-in-Charge Marie Pauline Faith A. Cacho, highlights students’ creativity, personal journeys, and pride in being part of the school community.

The celebration culminates on February 27, 2026 with the vibrant Mass Demonstration, supervised by Teacher-in-Charge Edwin D. Cariaga, highlighting coordinated performances, discipline, creativity, teamwork, and active participation of students, parents, and teachers reflecting the spirit of unity and shared pride within the school community.

Through these collective efforts, PROJECT SHINE embodies the school’s mission to nurture well-rounded learners and strengthen a united educational community, proving that when SPNHS stands together, it truly shines in excellence and unity.

Project GIFTS Sparks the True Spirit of Sharing at San Pedro National High School

On December 18, 2025, San Pedro National High School, under the leadership of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), once again spread love, joy, and hope through Project GIFTS (Gathering the Internal and External Stakeholders' Support in Fostering the True Spirit of Sharing).

The event was successfully held, bringing students and teachers of San Pedro National High School in a meaningful celebration centered on the true spirit of sharing. The event highlighted the collective effort of the school in spreading joy and fostering compassion through simple yet heartfelt acts of giving.

Led by the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), the event was filled with meaningful activities such as exciting gift-giving, raffle draws, and fun parlor games. Each part of the event reflected cooperation, gratitude, and warmth, serving as a reminder that sharing takes many forms, including time, effort, and compassion extended to one another. Through the support of internal and external stakeholders, the initiative showcased how kindness, time, and genuine care can create beautiful and lasting smiles and strengthen the sense of belonging among learners.

The success of Project GIFTS definitely reflects the school’s commitment to nurturing values alongside academic growth. By coming together for the same purpose, sharing builds connections, inspires gratitude, and leaves a positive impact to each and everyone.

UN CELEBRATION WEEK 2025
Theme: “Digital Connect: Uniting People for a Better World”

This week, we’re celebrating unity and creativity through our exciting classroom activities. On Monday, students will work on a Creative Task (Digital Output), and for those without data or gadgets, they can still join by making an anime drawing, poster, or slogan on paper. On Tuesday, it’s time for our Quiz Bee Challenge to test teamwork and knowledge. Wednesday will be the presentation of digital outputs, where students will proudly showcase their creativity and effort. Finally, on Thursday, we’ll have an Exhibit at the Students’ Lounge — Aplikasyon: Learning in Action. Let’s make this week meaningful, fun, and full of learning as we connect and unite for a better world.

Today’s Teachers’ Day celebration at San Pedro National High School is a joyful and heartfelt tribute to the amazing mentors who guide and inspire us every day. This special event is made possible through the outstanding leadership of the SSLG Officers, whose creativity and teamwork have brought this day to life.

The day features a variety of exciting activities, from fun games, emotional tributes, and energetic performances to the highly anticipated Mr. and Ms. Teachers’ Day Pageant, which adds a splash of glamour and joy to the celebration.

A standout part of the event is the collection of interactive and meaningful booths, thoughtfully organized by student groups to express appreciation and celebrate our teachers:
🎪 Carnival Booth (by SSLG) – Where fun meets gratitude, a colorful playground of classic games and surprises crafted to celebrate our teachers with smiles, laughter, and heartfelt cheer.
📸 Photo Booth (by BSP) – Capturing smiles and memories with creative backdrop and props.
💌 Dedication Booth (by BKB) – A space where students wrote heartfelt messages and thank-you notes to their favorite teachers.
🛤️ Game Zone (by YES-O) – A vibrant space filled with interactive and enjoyable games that invite teachers to relax and have fun.

Each booth reminds us that appreciation can come in many forms , through kind words, joyful laughter, meaningful memories, and small acts of gratitude.

We, the SSLG, extend our sincerest thanks to all the student organizations who brought these ideas to life: SSLG, BSP, BKB, and YES-O. Your dedication made this day extra meaningful.

We are also deeply grateful to everyone who helped bring this celebration to life — our volunteers, performers, and all those who worked behind the scenes.

And of course, a very special thank you to our SSLG Adviser, Ma’am May Tolentino, for your constant support, guidance, and inspiration.

To our beloved teachers: thank you for your patience, passion, and unwavering guidance. You are our second parents, our greatest inspirations, and our everyday heroes.
