โOne Shared Voice, One Collective Choice:
Advocacy โก Empowerment''
Dacu Integrated School joins the Department of Education and the Filipino nation in commemorating the 23rd Cerebral Palsy Awareness and Protection Week, an important observance that calls for strengthened awareness, meaningful inclusion, protection, participation, and empowerment of persons with cerebral palsy.
Anchored on the Department of Education's commitment to inclusive, equitable, quality, and accessible basic education, this observance reminds us that every learner has the right to learn, participate, belong, and thrive in a safe, supportive, and responsive learning environment.
Cerebral Palsy Awareness and Protection Week is more than an annual celebration. It is an opportunity for the school community to deepen our understanding of the experiences, needs, rights, strengths, and potential of learners with disabilities. It calls upon us to move beyond awareness toward concrete actions that remove barriers to learning and participation.
At Dacu Integrated School, we recognize that inclusion is a shared responsibility. It calls for the active collaboration of school leaders, teachers, parents, learners, and stakeholders in creating a learning environment where differences are respected, individual needs are recognized, and every learner is provided appropriate opportunities and support to develop their full potential.
Through our continuing commitment to Special Needs Education (SNED), inclusive practices, learner support programs, parent engagement, and strengthened school-community partnerships, we strive to ensure that no learner is left behind because of disability or other barriers to participation.
๐ Awareness leads to understanding.
๐ Understanding leads to acceptance.
๐ Acceptance strengthens inclusion.
๐ Inclusion creates opportunities.
๐ And meaningful opportunities lead to empowerment.
May this observance inspire us to listen to the voices of learners and families, uphold their dignity and rights, challenge barriers and misconceptions, and collectively build a school community where every learner is seen, heard, valued, supported, and empowered.
Because in Dacu Integrated School, inclusion is not merely about opening the doors of educationโit is about ensuring that every learner can meaningfully enter, participate, learn, belong, and succeed. ๐ค๐
One Shared Voice. One Collective Choice.
From Advocacy to Empowerment.
Dacu Integrated School โ committed to inclusive, equitable, quality, and learner-centered education for all.
