𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | In a vibrant and meaningful celebration of faith and culture, Sugat Kabanhawan Festival 2026 brought together five contingents, each telling a story of hope, resurrection, and unity through movement, music, and artistry. The streets came alive with every beat of the drums, every synchronized step, and every radiant smile, transforming the celebration into a powerful expression of devotion and identity. From the dynamic street dancing performances to the awe-inspiring ritual showdowns, and the grace and elegance of each festival queen, the festival became a stage where passion met purpose.

Among these outstanding contingents, the IHMAnians of Immaculate Heart of Mary Academy stood out with unwavering dedication, discipline, and heart. With every step grounded in hard work and every movement fueled by passion, they rose to claim the title of 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠, showcasing not only talent but true excellence. 𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | In the solemn silence of Good Friday, the faithful gathered at the Archdiocesan Shrine and Parish of Immaculate Heart of Mary for the Solemn Foot Procession. A sacred journey of reflection, penance, and unwavering devotion. Under the weight of tradition and faith, hundreds of devotees filled the streets, each step carrying prayers, intentions, and quiet sacrifices offered from the heart.

As the procession moved forward, a powerful sense of unity embraced everyone present. IHMAnians, alumni, and teachers stood side by side once again, humbly serving as cordons. Not only guiding the path, but also becoming witnesses to a living expression of faith in motion. In the stillness between footsteps and prayers, there was a shared understanding that this was more than a ritual; it was a moment of collective surrender and remembrance.

Each step echoed the journey of Christ, marked by suffering, yet filled with purpose and love. And in walking together, we were reminded that faith is not meant to be carried alone, but shared within a community bound by hope and devotion.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | On April 01, 2026, as Holy Week called the faithful into a deeper journey of reflection and sacrifice, IHMAnians, alumni, and teachers answered not just with presence, but with service, stepping forward as cordons in this sacred procession.

With hearts anchored in devotion, we guided the path of Black Nazarene and Our Lady of Sorrows, carrying more than responsibility—we carried prayers, intentions, and a shared faith that moved quietly among the crowd. Each step became a silent offering, each moment a reminder of Christ’s suffering and a reflection of His enduring love.

Amid the crowd and the stillness of the moment, our presence became a testament that service, no matter how simple, is a powerful expression of love. In walking alongside these sacred images, we were reminded that faith is not only seen in grand gestures, but in the willingness to serve, to stand, and to journey with others. And in that quiet act of devotion, we found that we were not just part of the procession, we were part of something far greater: a living witness of faith, unity, and grace.

On March 27, 2026, we honored the graduates of Grade 12 STEM C & D, HUMSS A & B, and TVL. Individuals shaped by perseverance, sacrifice, and determination, growing not only in knowledge but also in strength and character.

On March 28, 2026, we celebrate our ABM graduates, whose journey was marked by discipline, creativity, and leadership, prepared to face greater responsibilities and create meaningful impact beyond the classroom.

Different paths, one shared truth, they chose to keep going. Their journeys reflect that success is built on courage and resilience, and as they step forward, they carry values that will guide them in the years ahead.

𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 | 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | As we draw the curtains on S.Y. 2025–2026, our graduating students from Grade 6, Grade 10, and Grade 12 gathered in a solemn and grace-filled Baccalaureate Mass, offering not only their achievements, but also their struggles, sacrifices, and silent battles to the Lord. Presided over by Rev. Fr. Vince Michael Sabal, SDB, this Eucharistic celebration became a sacred moment of reflection, thanksgiving, and renewal before they take the next step in their journey.

Anchored in the Gospel of John, we are reminded that God does not measure us by our shortcomings nor define us by our sins. Instead, He sees us with love, mercy, and unwavering acceptance. In the same way, our academic journey is not solely defined by grades, failures, or accomplishments, but by the growth, perseverance, and courage we have shown along the way. Don’t let your worth be measured by your mistakes, for just as Christ continues to call us despite our imperfections, we are reminded that our worth goes beyond numbers—it is rooted in who we are and who we are becoming.

More than anything, this Mass reminded all of us that the world does not simply need successful people, it needs compassionate people. Individuals who carry not only knowledge, but also kindness; not only achievements, but also empathy and a heart willing to serve others.

This celebration served as a powerful reminder that every late night, every challenge faced, and every victory earned has meaning in God’s greater plan. It allowed each graduate to pause, to give thanks for the journey, and to entrust their future to His guidance. As we move forward to the next journey of our lives, may we carry the values we have learned for the past years we have spent in our lovely institution.

Truly, this Eucharistic celebration was a beautiful and meaningful way to end the academic year—grounded in faith, strengthened by grace, and filled with hope as they move forward to new beginnings.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | The halls of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Academy came alive as Open House 2026, a three-day celebration of learning and discovery—officially welcomed bright young learners from Minglanilla Central Elementary School, Bacay Elementary School, Upper Tunghaan Elementary School, Calajoan Elementary School, Tubod Elementary School, Vito Elementary School, and Guindaruhan Elementary School. Their visit transformed the campus into a vibrant space of discovery, curiosity, and shared learning.

As they stepped into the different classrooms and laboratories, the visiting students explored a variety of interactive exhibits, creative displays, and engaging demonstrations prepared by the students. Each station reflected dedication, innovation, and the desire to share knowledge, turning the day into more than just a showcase, but a true celebration of learning in action.
