🌸 Happy Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (August 15)

Today, the Church joyfully celebrates the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a beautiful reminder that our Blessed Mother, who faithfully said "Yes" to God throughout her life, was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory. Her Assumption points us toward the hope of eternal life and encourages us to remain faithful to Christ in our daily journey.
As members of the Salesian Family, let us look to Mary as our loving Mother and model of holiness. May her unwavering faith inspire us to trust in God's plan, joyfully respond to His call, and live each day with hearts open to His will.

🔥 **A PRAYER FOR MORNESE** 🇮🇹

Today, our hearts turn toward **Mornese**—the humble land where Mary Help of Christians entrusted to Don Bosco and Mother Mazzarello a mission that would reach the world.

Now, the forests of Mornese are touched by fire. Yet as we watch with concern, we are reminded that what makes Mornese sacred is not only its soil and its hills, but the **faith, courage, and love that took root there**.

Let us pray for the protection of this beloved place, for its people, for those who are displaced or affected, and for all the firefighters and responders who are working with courage to contain the flames.

May Mary Help of Christians watch over Mornese, and may the spirit of **Mother Mazzarello—her trust in God, simplicity, and courageous love—remain a living flame in our hearts.**

Today, we remember Saint Lawrence, whose life was a shining witness of courageous service, unwavering faith, and generous love for the poor. As one of the Church's great martyrs, he remained faithful to Christ even in the face of suffering, teaching us that true discipleship means serving others with joy and trusting God in every circumstance.
May Saint Lawrence inspire us to become servant-leaders who live with courage, charity, and compassion, always placing Christ at the center of our lives.

**"Blessed"**

With hearts overflowing with gratitude, we celebrate the **Blessing of the Newly Renovated Mary Help of Christians Chapel**, a sacred milestone in the life of our school community. More than the renewal of a physical space, this blessing is a testament to God's unfailing providence and the countless graces He has poured upon our Salesian family through the years.

As part of this blessed occasion, we also welcomed the new sacred images of **Mary Help of Christians** and **St. Joseph**—visible signs of our thanksgiving for their loving guidance, protection, and intercession. Entrusting our educating community anew to Mary's maternal care and St. Joseph's faithful guardianship, we renew our commitment to make our chapel a true home where Christ is encountered, prayers are lifted with hope, and hearts are transformed by His love.

The celebration was made even more meaningful through the **Holy Eucharist presided over by Rev. Fr. Jhun Paradiang, SDB**, in the presence of the **Educating Community Core Group (ECCG)**, the school's administrators, representatives from our faculty, staff, and some members of the Salesian Family. It was truly a special gift from Mary that the renovation was completed in time for the celebration of the **154th Foundation Anniversary of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA)**—a beautiful reminder that our Blessed Mother continues to watch over and provide for our community.

May this renewed chapel remain a sanctuary of prayer, faith, and communion, inspiring every member of our school to grow closer to Christ through the loving guidance of Mary Help of Christians and the faithful example of St. Joseph.
