𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐘𝐆 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬

With hearts ready to serve and a renewed commitment to their mission, the newly elected and chosen Salesian Youth Group (SYG) leaders were formally inducted during the Holy Mass presided over by Fr. Joseph.

Held within the celebration of the Eucharist, the induction was more than a recognition of new leaders, it was a moment of entrusting their leadership to God. As they begin this new chapter, the leaders are called to lead not by position, but through service, example, and genuine love for their fellow young people.

May their journey as SYG leaders be guided by faith, strengthened by community, and inspired by the Salesian spirit of 𝐣𝐨𝐲, 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠.

During her Senior High School years at MOHTIW, she served as SLTC President, Salesian Youth Group (SYG) Leader, and ABM President, demonstrating servant leadership and dedication to the school community. She graduated as the Batch Valedictorian with High Honors, received the Best in Conduct Award, and was recognized for the Most Outstanding Research Project.

Her pursuit of excellence continues in college. She is currently a Presidential Scholar and Dean's Lister, placing Top 1 in The Legion Qualifying Examination and becoming a member of The Legion – UC Main Quizbowler's Guild. She has consistently ranked among the top performers in several departmental examinations, including Top 1 in BA 424 and Top 1 in TAX 311, while also earning top placements in Accounting and Economics courses. Beyond the classroom, she achieved 1st Runner-Up in the Intramurals Extemporaneous Speech Competition (2026) and placed 4th in the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Written Examination under the Taxation Team Category.

On 𝑨𝒖𝒈𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 - With hearts full of gratitude and joy, the 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 (𝐌𝐎𝐇) community joined in celebrating the 154𝓽𝓱 𝓘𝓷𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓽𝓾𝓽𝓮 𝓓𝓪𝔂 𝓸𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓓𝓪𝓾𝓰𝓱𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓼 𝓸𝓯 𝓜𝓪𝓻𝔂 𝓗𝓮𝓵𝓹 𝓸𝓯 𝓒𝓱𝓻𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓪𝓷𝓼 (𝓕𝓜𝓐),, beginning with a Holy Mass celebrated alongside MHCS at 7:30 followed up by the general assembly at 9:30 at the MHCS Gymnasium

Guided by this year's theme, "𝑭𝑴𝑨: 𝑳𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎 this milestone celebration united the salesian family in giving thanks for the gift of the FMA sisters. their care, dedication and living witness to don bosco and mother mazzarello's charism continue to inspire the youth everyday.

The morning assembly was overflowing with appreciation and heartfelt gratitude as students showcased lively dance presentations, an exciting live band performance, and meaningful messages for the Sisters. In return, the FMA Sisters touched everyone's hearts with a gracious thank you message, expressing their love and appreciation for the entire community.

Everyday is a chance for Renewal, with the SYM Theme: 𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐖, 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐄, 𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐄. This year's event reminded us that everyday is an opportunity for a new beginning, new friendships formed, new hope for others, and new faith to deepened. Reaching for a new beginning not only acts within ourselves, but also with our new friends, families, and communities.

As we gathered on this year's theme, a meaningful change starts within ourselves and slowly building its way to others. ‎On July 31, 2026, the Salesian Youth Group (SYG) from the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐕𝐄𝐓 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 came together to kick off another inspiring chapter dedicated to saying “𝐲𝐞𝐬” to renew, serve, and shine. The campus was filled with laughter and energy as the students showcased their talents, their support, and their own unique way of strengthening friendships, showing support, and serving the youth.

‎This year, 2026, the young dreamers of MOH are inspired to renew their faith in God, serve the youth, and shine with God’s goodness and grace. Through fun team-building games, amazing performances, and meaningful reflection, students are reminded that SYG is a group of young people gathered together for a shared mission—to serve God by living with St. John Bosco’s love for the young and St. Mary Mazzarello’s humble service.
