The greatest barrier between us and God isn’t our circumstances... it’s our sin. No one is righteous on their own, no matter how good they appear or how hard they try. We have all fallen short of God’s perfect standard.

But the beauty of the Gospel is this: our story doesn’t end with our failure. Jesus Christ took our place, paid the penalty for our sins, and made a way for us to be reconciled with God. Salvation is not earned by good works... it is received by grace through faith in Him.

Our greatest need is not to become better people and want God to notice how good we are so that we may get His approval... but, it is to be made new in Christ.
