🚨 BIDA ANG HANDA! 🚨

In commitment to ensuring a safe, resilient, and disaster-prepared learning environment, Catanusan Elementary School successfully participated in the 2nd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026 today, June 18, 2026, at exactly 9:00 AM.

The activity kicked off with an informative orientation on earthquake safety protocols, emphasizing the critical importance of family and school preparedness.

As the sirens wailed at 9:00 AM, signaling the simulated ground shaking, learners from Kindergarten to Grade 6, together with teaching and non-teaching personnel, seamlessly executed the primary emergency response:

🔴 DUCK
🔴 COVER
🔴 HOLD

Following the alarm, everyone safely proceeded to the designated open evacuation area in an orderly manner, maintaining composure while executing proper evacuation procedures. Teachers immediately conducted a headcount to ensure that all 122 learners and school staff were safe and accounted for.

Through standard exercises like the quarterly NSED, Catanusan ES continues to strengthen its disaster readiness, ensuring that our beloved pupils and staff know exactly what to do when disaster strikes.

Heartfelt gratitude goes out to our cooperative parents, the local Barangay DRRM committee, and the entire Catanusan community for their unwavering support in making this drill safe and successful!
