The College of Agriculture (COA) successfully conducted its Faculty and Staff Orientation in preparation for the upcoming Academic Year.

The program began with a short mindfulness meditation facilitated by Dean Engr. Roy A. Cabatac, PhD, promoting focus and well-being among faculty and staff. The orientation also served as a venue to discuss the college’s plans, priorities, and strategic actions to ensure a productive and successful academic year ahead.

Together, the COA community remains committed to excellence, collaboration, and providing quality education and service. 🌱

The SCC-College of Agriculture proudly congratulates Howell Galos for being selected as one of the participants in the Filipino Young Farmers Internship Program in Taiwan (FYFIPT) 2026.

After successfully completing the one-month Pre-Departure Orientation (PDO), Howell is now set to embark on an 11-month internship in Taiwan, where he will join fellow young Filipino farmers from across the country in gaining hands-on experience in advanced agricultural technologies, innovative farming systems, agribusiness management, and sustainable agricultural practices.

This remarkable achievement reflects Howell’s dedication, passion, and commitment to the advancement of Philippine agriculture. As he represents Region XII, the youth farming sector, and our institution on the international stage, we are confident that he will gain valuable knowledge and skills that will contribute to the development of our local agricultural communities upon his return.

May this journey inspire more young people to pursue excellence in agriculture and become future leaders and innovators in the industry.
