Notre Dame of Midsayap College mourns the passing of Dr. Nelisa “Ma’am Bing” Jorolan,
who peacefully passed away on January 1, 2026.

Dr. Jorolan faithfully served NDMC as Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dean of the College of Education, Graduate School Head, and Director for Quality Assurance. Her dedication, leadership, and commitment to academic excellence have left a lasting legacy in the institution.

NDMC extends its deepest condolences to the bereaved family, especially to her husband, Sir Sergio Jorolan, former DSAS, Elementary Principal, and CAS Faculty, and to their son, Mark Leister Jorolan.

We join the family in prayer for the eternal repose of her soul.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.

𝘾𝙄𝙏𝙀 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙁𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙩 𝙊𝙗𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝘿𝙖𝙮

In celebration of Oblates Day, Notre Dame of Midsayap College recognizes the College of Information Technology and Engineering (CITE) as one of the key contributors of success in the Community Extensions Program of NDMC. With the commitment of its faculty and students, CITE is honored to present their initiatives that integrate technology and innovation to support communities in need.

𝗧𝗲𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝘆𝗼: 𝗔𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

This initiative aims to foster sustainable development in partner barangays through digital transformation. The TeKnow sa Baryo encompasses three (3) key projects:

1. 🖥️ 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙨 – Deployment of systems in different barangays in Midsayap, enhancing local governance through digital solutions.

2. ⚙️ 𝙆𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙜 𝙨𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣 – Providing a solar-powered generator in the community of Pangipasan, Matalam, Cotabato.

3. 🖥 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙇𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙮 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 – Equipping individuals with essential digital skills for a tech-driven future.

Through these outreach efforts, CITE remains dedicated to extending technological advancements and educational opportunities to the communities in need.

As part of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, the CITE department continues to uphold the values of education, service, and compassion, contributing to positive and sustainable community development.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊| 𝐋𝐈𝒑𝒂𝒅-𝐋𝐀𝐖𝒊𝒏 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐄-𝐒𝐀𝐘𝐀 🎬

𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭- The LILAW Multimedia Team of the NDMC-CITE Department, a group of students and personnel with a shared passion for multimedia has made waves in the local film scene, securing the second place in the prestigious 𝑪𝑰𝑵𝑬-𝑺𝑨𝒀𝑨 𝑫𝒐𝒄𝒖𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑭𝒊𝒍𝒎, themed, "𝑴𝒈𝒂 𝑲𝒖𝒘𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒂, 𝑴𝒖𝒍𝒂 𝒔𝒂 𝑩𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑴𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒚𝒂", an event organized by Midsayap Tourism.

Their documentary, "𝐀𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐨 𝐎𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨," not only captivated the judges but also earned them the coveted 𝑩𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝑪𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒑𝒉𝒚 award. The team's dedication to their craft and shared passion for multimedia were evident in their exceptional work.

The CITE-LILAW team's achievement is a testament to the talent and creativity of everyone who shares the same passion as this team ✨

The LILAW multimedia team would like to thank everyone who has shown their support and love for this entire journey. May this inspire us to explore more the world of creatives, and support it with hearts wide open ❤️
