The Materials Science and Nanotechnology Laboratory successfully conducted a specialized training on “𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆 – 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗫-𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆 (𝗦𝗘𝗠-𝗘𝗗𝗦)” last May 5, 2026, at the Regional Research Center.

This hands-on training was uniquely participated in by high school students from Passi National High School, demonstrating that advanced scientific learning is not limited to higher education. The activity introduced young learners to SEM principles, proper sample preparation, SEM imaging, and EDS analysis—providing them with early exposure to cutting-edge research tools and techniques.

By equipping high school students with foundational research skills, the laboratory continues to foster curiosity, build confidence, and inspire future scientists. This initiative reflects a strong commitment to inclusive capacity development and the cultivation of innovation at all levels of education.
