🌸 MCES Teachers’ Day Celebration 2025 🌸
The MCES Teachers’ Day Celebration 2025 was successfully spearheaded by the SELG Officers, in partnership with the MCES PTA Officers, on October 2, 2025.
A joyful program was organized by the SELG Officers to honor our beloved teachers, highlighted by the giving of tokens and the awarding of Certificates of Appreciation by the PTA.
The event was filled with laughter and excitement as MCES pupils showcased their talents during the program. To conclude the celebration, a delightful lunch was served especially for the teachers.
Once again, a heartfelt thank you to all our teachers! Your hard work, dedication, and love are truly appreciated.

📚 MCES SELG Receives Book Donation from Ateneo de Iloilo Through SB Member Lea Marie D. Naldoza-Zhang
The MCES Supreme Elementary Learners Government (SELG) is deeply grateful to the Ateneo de Iloilo – Santa Maria Catholic School for their generous donation of books, made possible through the office of our newly elected Sangguniang Bayan Member Lea Marie D. Naldoza-Zhang.
This meaningful contribution will greatly support our Remedial Reading Program, providing much-needed resources to help our learners strengthen their reading skills and foster a love for books.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to SB Lea for her unwavering support to MCES and her continued advocacy for quality education. Your generosity will leave a lasting impact on the learning journey of our pupils.

📚 MCES SELG Kick-off Project SY 2025–2026
Book and School Supplies Donation Drive
As we begin a new school year, the MCES Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) is excited to launch its Kick-off Project for SY 2025–2026—a heartfelt initiative aimed at supporting our fellow learners through a Book and School Supplies Donation Drive.
We warmly invite everyone—students, parents, teachers, and members of the community—to take part in this meaningful cause. If you have reading books that are no longer in use, we would be truly grateful if you could donate them to help enrich the learning experience of our MCES pupils.
We are also accepting the following items:
• 🧥 School uniforms
• 👟 PE uniforms and shoes
• ✏️ School supplies (notebooks, paper, pencils, crayons, etc.)
✨ Your generosity will go a long way in supporting MCES learners in need. Every item you donate will make a real and lasting impact.

A Heartfelt Gathering After the Oathtaking and Turn-over Ceremony
Following the successful Oathtaking and Turn-over Ceremony of the MCES Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG), a small yet meaningful get-together was held—filled with good food, laughter, and wonderful company.
This simple celebration was a way to honor the dedication and contributions of our outgoing SELG officers, whose leadership, advocacy, and camaraderie have left a lasting impact on the MCES community.
To our former SELG officers—thank you for your unwavering service and commitment. Your legacy of unity, responsibility, and compassion will continue to inspire us as we move forward.

Rianne Nuñeza Aldea Accepts Key of Responsibility as New SELG President S.Y. 2025-2026
Last March 17, 2025, Miagao Central Elementary School witnessed a meaningful moment of leadership transition during the SELG Oathtaking and Turnover Ceremony held at the school grounds. Newly elected SELG President for S.Y. 2025-2026, Rianne Nuñeza Aldea, officially accepted the key of responsibility from outgoing President Princess Djillian Naz Factes, who served with dedication during S.Y. 2024-2025.
The symbolic turnover of the key marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Supreme Elementary Learner Government. The event was attended by school officials, faculty members, SELG officers, and fellow learners, all eager to support the incoming leaders as they continue the mission of serving the student body.
The school community extends its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to President Rianne Nuñeza Aldea. With her leadership, the SELG looks forward to another productive and inspiring school year filled with meaningful projects, teamwork, and service.
