Following the recent magnitude 4.4 earthquake that affected areas within the First Congressional District of Iloilo, and in line with our commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all learners and school personnel, the Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Ernesto F. Servillon Jr. has ordered the suspension of face-to-face classes from Kindergarten to Senior High School in all schools within the first congressional district, effective immediately.

Miagao National High School welcomed the Monitoring and Validation Team for the implementation of two of its Special Curricular Programs, the Special Program in Science, Technology, and Engineering (SPSTE) and the Special Program in Journalism (SPJ).

The evaluators were Ma’am April C. Velez, Education Program Supervisor for EPP/TLE/TVE/TVL, and Ma’am Athea V. Landar, Education Program Supervisor under the Curriculum and Learning Management Division (CLMD) from DepEd Regional Office VI.

Portfolio Day & Card Day for the First Quarter

Yesterday, Miagao National High School opened its doors to parents and guardians as learners proudly presented their portfolios, which showcase their hard work, achievements, and learning journey throughout the quarter.

Alongside this, the distribution of report cards served as a meaningful opportunity for parents and teachers to come together, discuss academic performance, and affirm the shared commitment in guiding every student toward success.

Truly, it was a day of celebrating progress, strengthening partnerships, and nurturing potential.

This gathering of educators and professionals showcased plenary sessions, curriculum innovation workshops, instructional strategies, and leadership development for advancing TVET nationwide.

Representing Miagao National High School were Sir Francis John Libo-on, TVE Coordinator, and Sir Salvador Timonan, Master Teacher, who actively participated in the event.
